I purchased travel insurance for a 2 day trip to London (I live in Northern Ireland) which cost me a little over £2 and my partner also bought the same policy separately (even though he is not going) as we have 2 teenage children. This means we can now go as a family to the cinema on a Tuesday or Wednesday for minimal costs :-)
Again, it took a few days for my 'purchase' to be 'synced' but after trying again a few days later on website mine was activated.
My brother also bought a policy for a short European city break (cost him about a fiver) and got his Meerkat app set up with no problems.
Great Money Saving tip!!! Thanks :-)0 -
I got this offer just by getting a car insurance quote and using the reference number. Cost = zero. Gave it a go and it worked.0

I got a car insurance quote, got a reference number, used that to register with 241 cinema ticket offer and it worked. No money spent!!0

Decided to give this a go yesterday after all the good reports so bought a £2.06 one day travel policy (cheapest I could find - must be my age - with ERV) last night. This evening, downloaded the Meerkat Movies app and it popped up with a message after I'd installed it which said I had bought a qualifying policy so I now had a year's Meerkat Movies membership, and automatically gave me next week's code so didn't even have to put in the policy number or anything! Fantastic. Will work with Vue and Odeon (my nearest cinemas).0

I'm trying to book tickets online for empire Leicester Square.
Anyone done this?
I can't see anywhere tout the code and I've been through it a couple of times.0 -
Went through the process of 2 standard tickets for 2d film and can't see it anywhere. Would appreciate some help from someone who's done it.0

Update : only works on Wednesdays with empire online, not on Tuesday's (guess this might be a hangover from Orange weds).0

Have you tried contacting compare the market ?0 -

When I tried to activate my Meerkat Movies membership I was told "Sorry, we can't automatically validate your details for the selected product and brand. Please check you have selected the correct product and brand". This despite my entering all the relevant details beforehand. Has anybody else had the same experience and is there a cure?

Yes. I bought the cheapest policy I could find (£2.03 ERV travel insurance) today and I'm trying to activate my membership, but I keep getting the same message as you. pjmarshall, did you manage to get the Meerkat Movies membership in the end?
A lot of people have had the same problem, but it takes a while (at least 48 hours) for the membership to be activated. I'll wait 48 hours and try again.0
