My partner hates that I sometimes snore, and occasionally (2 or 3 times a year) have nightmares, which end with me waking up shouting.

I'm untidy. This would also be on a list of what I think my own faults are.

I'm short and overweight so never look really good in anything.

I color my own hair instead of paying £60-£80 to get it done professionally

I paint my own nails instead of paying to get them done professionally

I like to buy things and expect to keep them in our house. The spare room has wall-to-wall shelving with all my craft and hobby stuff on and the kitchen cupboards are full of cake tins and storage boxes.

I don't buy new clothes just because I don't have anything less than 6 months old.

As I am a student with virtually no income, he has to pay almost all the bills.

    I can't drive.

I am studying for a degree in a subject he doesn't understand.

I don't buy things for the house.

The things I want to buy for the house will take up more space.

    Things I don't like about him -

He has no hobbies or interests

He doesn't want to go anywhere/do anything but complains that we never go anywhere or do anything

He is registered on several dating sites so that he can meet other women

Well, to answer that I'd have to go back five years and tell you about the time when XYZ happened and he reacted in ABC way, which then resulted in JKL happening but that actually didn't have a bearing on the annoying thing because - and before I forget, we're doing PQR next week - it wasn't the most annoying thing; so the most annoying thing is actually ...

Yep, I can't give a simple answer to a question.

I think it's because I feel the need to get the excuse/explanation in first - if I answer quickly and simply, he may not be interested in the explanation.

My wife is like that. She takes ages to get to the point. Goes all around the houses setting the scene. It's actually counterproductive because sometimes I almost lose the will to live while waiting for the punchline.

Her dad is exactly the same.

I keep asking myself that. Mostly because I can't afford to live as comfortably on my own, he's pays the mortgage and is away a lot with work - it would have ended long ago if we were together 24/7.

It can't go on much longer though. Watch this space. :)

You live with someone who sleeps with other people, and you do that for h is money contribution to your lifestyle?

I hadn't realised it came across as starkly as that. We've been together nearly twenty years, the infidelity and my lack of cash are fairly recent and to be honest, I think they are linked.

We agreed that I give up my job and study for a degree to give me the opportunity to get a better job when it's completed but he's found it hard (financially it's easy, it's the principle of being the sole breadwinner he struggles with). If I moved out now I would have to abandon my studies, and he is adamant that he does not want that.

I expect I'll be moving out as soon as I get a job after graduating. I can't imagine not having him in my life after all this time, but I can't carry on being treated this way.

    Things that annoy me

    - When he picks his nails
    - Heavy breathing while sleeping or snoring as i am a light sleeper!
    - How he hogs the bed cover at night and sticks his bum out
    - His farting they smell like cabbages!
    - When he plays his music too loud to the point where it is deafening!

    What annoys him about me:

    - I care too much what others think.
    - My burping.
    - I get really bad road rage.
    - I am a light sleeper and hear everything.
    - That i sometimes hog the bed at night.
    - My OCD with locking my car and leaving things
    - How i talk "babyish" to my dog sometimes.
  • Him

Coming in and out the house, he's constantly popping to his mums or friends for a cuppa or go to the shop. He can't sit bloody still!!! Hoping his new b knackered him out.
Spend money like he's a footballer on stone island jumpers n I shop in primark.
Late for everything because he talks till the cows come home.
Obsessed with the weight section in the gym.
Chucks tea towel on work surface when he knows it lives over the oven handle, where he's just got it from.
Can't scrape plate n put in dw or sink just puts the plate inbetween the two on the side.
Leaves clothes lying around unless it's designer? Hangs them but not regular clothes?

    Me

    I nag about his mess.
I nag at his ability to be late to everything!!!!
I moan about almost everything. (Mainly because mummy did everything for him and I just get on with it but moan in the process)

However we've been separated but he's moving back in tomorrow to give our marriage another go.
I'm going to hope his mum has been on his case about his untidiness? And I'm going to to try to not argue about the same carp again.
