    I don't annoy him because I am perfect :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    No seriously;
The fact I take the washing up bowl out of the sink and put it on the drainer.
I like the rug in the porch over the wipey feet mat.
I leave the tv remotes on the arm of the chair and not in their proper place - on the shelf next to him.
I don't shut all the cupboards properly.
I don't put the mugs and glasses on the shelves according to their size.
I don't stack the tins in their like for like rows. Or any other foodstuffs for that matter and I annoy him even more by deliberately doing it so it bugs him.

Things that annoy me about him.

He whistles and is always tapping (not the keyboard) or banging on his laptop/table etc
He flicks constantly through the tv unless I specifically request to watch something.
He can't answer yes or no to a question, I believe it is so he doesn't ever have to take responsibility for any outcomes.
He doesn't have much of a sense of humour.

How long have you got? :(

    My ruthless decluttering

My moaning when he dumps his tools everywhere and just leaves them.

My memory (though his is just as bad)

    My hair

    My weight

    My inability to clean properly

    I'm too slow

My facial fuzz which has got worse since hitting the menopause... Says if I grow any more he wont know whether to sh@g me or take me to the pub (that hurt!)

The fact I'm on antidepressants. Ive got nothing to be depressed about apparently

    The list goes on

Ouch!!! so so cruel about the facial hair, why would you stay in a relationship with someone who treats you like that??????

You would hopefully know them well enough to take it as a jokey comment, that someone who is completely comfortable around you could make without you taking them at their word or being offended!
The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.

I annoy him because I put empty cartons and boxes away instead of putting them in the bin and he can never find anything because I don't put stuff with similar items in the cupboards. I just tell him he can do the shopping more often. :A

I think it annoys him a bit that I always get up really early because he always asks me to stay in bed!

It irritates me that he doesn't wipe the shower screen after he's had a shower and he doesn't un-crumple the washing when he hangs it up! And every time I ask him to help me change the sheets he has to get in bed so it ends up taking me half an hour to finish making it :rotfl:

  • He hates adverts so much, he immediately channel hops until he finds something else to watch. Then goes back to the original programme, having missed a bit of it by then.

When he has a bad dream, he turns into a demented ninja spider in armour. He nearly got tipped off the bed onto the floor a couple of nights ago - and my shins are covered in bruises as a result.

He's a complete duvet thief. I've watched him stick his hands inside the cover, grab the quilt and turn over several times until it's out of the cover and I'm left with two thin layers of cotton and a sidden desire for a bucket of water.

He hates the way I go full pelt into things, tire myself out and/or get hurt easily. And that I don't wake him up and have a go at him for kicking me when he's dreaming or nicking the quilt.

I got home yesterday and he had hovered the flat but left the hoover plugged in with the cord all pulled out and trailing across the floor - I tripped over it and came face to face with a pair of very ripe socks he had left abandoned on the floor. Annoyance levels ran pretty high.

Pretty sure it wasnt your intention, but this made me smile! Thank you for cheering me up after a crappy week! This is exactly the sort of thing that happens in my house too! :)

It's early days but i think my only annoying habit thus far is taking up most of the bed and pushing him off the edge. :p In my defence i'm used to having the bed to myself :D

  • I hate adverts too! I'm with your OH, JoJo!

I hate them so much that I've not actually watched one for at least 5 years now. I couldn't describe a single advert or even tell you what's being advertised.

I record the programme or use live pause until the programme has got ahead and then skip through them all.

I don't mind him doing that - it's the seeing little fragments of programmes, plus parts of the same adverts on each channel he tries before he finds a non advert - and missing bits of the original programme - that annoys me.

OP - I don't know why anyone would put up with habits that annoy them that much!

There are many that get my goat but top of the list is Prima Donna syndrome, ie being neither use nor ornament when there is work to be done, expecting others to get on with it and not lifting a finger. Just roll up your sleeves and muck in FHS.
