I dont really understand your point here. Even people in happy relationships tend to get annoyed about one thing or another when in each other's company for too long. That is what the OP asked, so that is what posters have replied about.

That doesnt necessarily mean that people aren't also worried or concerned about more significant problems in the world or within their relationships. We all have problems, but why mention them in a thread if they aren't relevant?

Well obviously I posted as I believe they are relevant and my point is people need to realise that the problems they are airing here are such trivial matters in comparison to an actual real issue.

Hmm what about Aune annoys me, she is a bit of a hoarder, for example if say some makeup or moisturiser runs out it doesn't go in the bin but remains in the bathroom until I throw it away, she will then claim there waa definitely some left in the bottom.

Washing, apparently pants must only be washed with socks and tights, erm !!!!!! off with that one!

I know she finds the fact that I dislike mess annoying, I'm sure she has a fairly long list as all of us have annoying traits.

I think we do all realise that they are trivial! The OP was full of trivial niggles but over time they build up and then they are not trivial to the person who is noticing them.

Get a grip, this is a thread that started off as a rant then moved to a light hearted discussion. If you want to moan about your "real issues" perhaps you should start your own thread.

Wow this really puts into perspective peoples issues with each other and I would hate to see some real ones listed ie:- where your next meal is coming form or a 5 hour journey to a hospital for some people in the world.

I guess my way of thinking on this one is that we really need to be more grateful for the things and people we have in life and the main problem as I see it here is the way everything is so fast paced these days with little time to reflect on the good way we do actually live as opposed to others in the world that may be in a tin shack or a tent in some rat infested camp during the winter months.

It's all about perspective. When you look at the bigger picture, it really puts things in perspective.

Pet hates between myself and Mr tc... Nothing worth moaning about in the grand scheme of things.

He gets annoyed that I manage to cover the whole bathroom floor in water when I have a bath.

I get annoyed that he's really picky about doing white, dark and coloured washes (when he actually does a wash), but then does a whites wash and sticks in a new coloured t-shirt of his that he wants for the next day on a 59 minute speed wash, so everything comes out tainted with the colour AND soggy!!!!!!!!

How long have you got? :(

    My ruthless decluttering

My moaning when he dumps his tools everywhere and just leaves them.

My memory (though his is just as bad)

    My hair

    My weight

    My inability to clean properly

    I'm too slow

My facial fuzz which has got worse since hitting the menopause... Says if I grow any more he wont know whether to sh@g me or take me to the pub (that hurt!)

The fact I'm on antidepressants. Ive got nothing to be depressed about apparently

    The list goes on

Wow! That's a long list! Is there anything you do like about him? :p

My two main annoyances about my husband are: He eats sweets noisily....very noisily. Sometimes I think he's just doing it to wind me up because he knows it drives me up the wall, but no....that's just how he eats them.

Boy does he know how to use those pause and rewind buttons on the Sky remote. You're watching something and then he's like "did you see that?" and so rewinds it! Or remembers to tell me something or show me something, so pauses it!

About me he'd say that he hates my stubbornness, my hoarding tendencies (I get sentimental about stuff and like to keep it, although I am getting better with that!) and the way little piles of clutter pop up all over the house! I am generally clean and tidy, but now and again, piles of magazines (that I'm working on reading through!) pop up, a pile of stuff to "go out to the car" sits there for days whilst I "keep on forgetting to take it out"

But, he has more good points than he has bad points, and those bad points whilst annoying as hell, are basically small in the grand scheme of things.

That's just mean. :( That goes beyond the usual annoying niggles people have about their partners. That's mental cruelty. Have you confronted him about it?
