Who will win the UK election ?

I thought Nick Clegg came across the best last night, he seems very relaxed and genuine, pity lots of people don't trust him any more. David Cameron looked very sweaty at the end. When he left the podium, he almost tripped over his own feet.
I did laugh at that as I had been waiting for one of them to trip up on that weirdly shaped stage.:rotfl:0 -

Personal opinion was that the format worked very well. The questions were varied and very much to the point. The follow up questioning didn't allow them to escape with glib answers either. There was no where to hide. Much better than the leaders bickering amongst themselves.0 -
IPOS MORI have a poll out too
Grim reading for Labour and it could put the SNP in a bit of a bind really. It's quite possible that they can deliver Government for the Tories but not for Labour.0 -

That's a new description for me or is your comment directed to Cameron?
As for Nationalists, if only the UK could light my fire for the UK Nation, unfortunately it's already too split and unfair that we need to look to a more local arrangement.
Authoritarian is a description of the nationalistic SNP.
In other circumstance Nicola would be a natural in a Thatcher cabinet except Maggie said what she meant whereas Nicola will talk any rubbish to achieve the one holy grail of independence.
You, I would simply describe as an unthinking acolyte, who adopt any absurd policy that Uncle Alex and Auntie Nicola decree.
Why any rational person wants a country to 'light their fire' is beyond me : sounds were Germany in the thirties.
The UK is one of the fairest and least divided nation in the world : except of course for the gross unfairness of the Barnett formula and the unfair voting issue for the English and an unhealthy 'anyone but the English ' in one section of the nation.
You have no idea what SNP mean by 'fair' or 'reducing inequality' because they haven't told you yet :
but we do know it includes
-a very high salary for the Scottish First Minister (highest salary for any UK politician)
-over £200,000 income for the Sturgeon family
-total support for SNP politicians that personally profited from the Thatcherite, snout in the trough, buy to let scheme
-200,000 subsidies for rich parents of Uni students, this being a transfer of income from the poor to the rich.
-one rule for council tenants with spare rooms and another for people in identical circumstances by being supported by HB in private rentals
-a total commitment to maximise the grants for Scotland as the expense of those for the people of Yorkshire
-think it perfectly fair that Nicola should join a ragbag group to exclude the Tories from power but think is outrageous that another ragbag group should exclude Nicola
and so on
we must all work to have another referendum asap with the full consequences all well documented as soon as is feasible : obviously with an UK wide referendum on the full terms of the deal first so no confusion about the role of the pound or about sharing assets or debts.0 -
Interesting...
Only 31% want Millibore to be PM, but 39% want his #2 to be Deputy PM'In nature, there are neither rewards nor punishments - there are Consequences.'0 -

I'd rather have more politicians like Sturgeon (crisp, efficient, committed) even if I disagree with their policies.
Sounds like the leaders last night weren't expecting such an unimpressed audience?
Presumably you see massive difference between the parties?
You see no compromises made between the Tories and LibDems over the last 5 years?
You would have preferred to have been government by a dogmatic strong leader who would listen to no-one but with whom you totally disagreed?0 -

You have so many errors in the above, I don't know where to start:wall:

Well for starters your wrong with Sturgeon having a higher salary than Cameron.
The latest vote to increase MSP's salaries by 0.7% was not taken up as the MSP's continued their pay freeze since they got into power in 2008.
Never mind though, your incorrect soundbites make you think your getting the upper hand:wall:
