Maybe we should use the German system of AV, so complicated most Germans probably couldn't explain it.
It's so "fair" that although there are meant to be 598 seats in the Bundestag, there are currently 620 members :eek:'In nature, there are neither rewards nor punishments - there are Consequences.'0 -

It can't be that complicated. It's basically AMS - the same system used to elect the devolved assemblies in Wales and Scotland, and err, London.:)...It's so "fair" that although there are meant to be 598 seats in the Bundestag, there are currently 620 members :eek:
Overhang seats I'd imagine.0 -
Could it be a case of lazy labour voters not actually making it to the polling booth ?
Tories, I imagine, would have been really worried about loosing a lot financially with a labour win but labour voters (I don't think) believed they thought they would lose or gain that much either way.
So more reason to get off your couch and vote for the Tories this time around.
Looks like I called it about right ...

There's a cartoon in the latest Private Eye. The punchline goes;
I can't believe Labour didn't win. We tweeted, we Facebooked, we Instagrammed, Perhaps we should have voted.0
