did the electorate do what they were supposed to in 2010?

why do you celebrate having to work with a nationalist party like the SNP?

For some reason it's Ok to be a Scottish Nationalist. It's being an English Nationalist that's beyond the pale.

    I don't understand it either.

Is it an English Nationalist posing as a UK nationalist?

Incidentally, I have no problem with any English person being proud of England as their country.

Pretty rich coming from Mr. UKIP there. We're never going to see eye to eye on anything Clapton so it shouldn't come as such a perpetual surprise to you that you disagree with me.

    Good day!

After due consideration, having pondered on the question 'Who will win the UK election?' I have now decided to play my 'Nobody Knows' card.

Couldn't you have posted that 747 posts earlier ?

Would have saved us a load of grief !!!

There I was simply seeking clarity, why you thought that the electorate was behaving in some unique way which nevertheless seemed similar to their behaviour only 5 years ago.

And of course you are a well established non racist, non nationalistic, socialist but seems to have just fallen in love with Scottish nationalism.

Well none of us are perfect are we?

It's starting to look like the momentum is with the Tories. Add to that the couple of points status quo vote and they might even scrape a majority. We'll see.

UKIP have been noticably quiet during the campaign. Have they lost momentum. Or simply targeting very specific seats where immigration is the key topic. Resulting in a slide back to the Tories elsewhere.

Possibly, but some Ukip'ers have "Come home" , as Cameron pleaded, in order to Stop the prospect of a Labour-SNP coalition , but Miliband appears to have Ruled that out tonight ? So maybe some with slide back again, either way next Thursday night will be very interesting .

    Tonight's debate winner:

    Cameron 44%
    Miliband 38%
    Clegg 19%

Miliband didn't look comfortable on occasions tonight. Hardly surprising that Labour have kept him away from open debate so far. The comment on Balls was telling to. After all he was the architect behind much of Brown's economic thinking. Balls could be a bigger influence on the votes cast than Miliband himself. Shame that Darling didn't stay on as shadow Chancellor. Far more credibility.
