I've never understood why people cheat?

If you don't love or want your OH anymore, why not just be honest before you do a duvet dance with someone else?

It's not rocket science, so why put your partner through that pain?

    Utterly devastating and unnecessary.

I empathise with anyone who feels the need to seek revenge, rightly or wrongly, it's not hard to work out why they did:(

I could extract absolutely merciless revenge in several ways on several exs, who are ex for various reasons incl cheating if I wanted. Personally I'd rather keep my dignity and not appear like a bitter and vindictive loser.

Saying that, it is a horrible thing to find your partner is a cheater, so I'm not entirely unsympathetic to someone who has suffered this and feels the need to have a go at the ex. Esp if they have particularly creative/embarrassing material to use. :)

Quite often it is the person that has done the cheating that for some reason tries to degrade the person that they have cheated on.

I have never understood this, I suppose they are trying to justify it to themselves by continuing to try to hurt the innocent and make them out to be at fault.

    100% agree with these posts.
If you're unhappy with your partner then at least show them the respect they deserve and leave, before embarking on affairs that you know will destroy them.

My ex-husband's lover once sent him a (not very flattering) topless picture of herself.

If I'd been the vengeful sort, I could have photocopied it and pinned up in lots of pub toilets along with her phone number.

Because I'd never do that to another woman, no matter how much I disliked her, I simply left him, married a much lovelier, and faithful husband, and went on to have a happy life.

They did get together, married and had a family and they're now divorced. I guess I got my revenge eventually! :D

This a thousand times over. Surely better to move on a build yourself a better and happier life than seek revenge.

well said and from experience let the guilty cheating person suffer in their own guilt. dont bother with small talk just ignore all there snipes and digs. revenge won't help really. good friends and Mse does.
The word about the scammers is spreading like marmite here in the westcountry.
We workers all love it and the ppc hate it :rotfl:

She is a good person. Vengeful woman? She was hurt, sad and hateful at the moment yes but who would not be?

I do not consider myself a feminist but I really think people will judge a woman doing something like this differently though. A guy would get more pats on his back if he did something similar.

People regularly post revenge situations like this on the ladbible website where it's a woman doing the cheating and the usual consensus is she got what she deserved!

That said, anyone that describes themselves as a 'lad' is usually a tool! Some funny stuff on the website though!

Yeuch! What a stupid thing to do!!!

I can't understand the attraction of pinning your dirty laundry up for the whole world to see. Being cheated on isn't nice, but the best revenge is to move on and be happy.
