revenge just means you give a !!!!
If your sitting there plotting ways to make them pay your using up time you could spend doing things that are more productive such as getting yourself a life0 -

Very true.
My ex cheated on me with one of my friends and did some despicable things to me before and after he left me for her. At Christmas she went on holiday with her family and he started messaging me, texting, calling, coming to my house because he "wanted me back" (which we all know what that translates to).
So I ignored him and told his girlfriend, who of course didn't believe me even with evidence. Then on he wouldn't message me until he found out I was going out with someone else. Still ignored him. Never felt better. Our Rainbow Twins born 17th April 2016

It's a great feeling when they're grovelling you to pay your half, but it's not legally enforceable. I pretend I'm going to pay, then just tell them to sod off. The best revenge is the one that you can keep using :-)
I'm surprised you think it's the best revenge ever if she's now accusing you of certain things - as per your now deleted thread. :rotfl:0 -
The sad thing is that years later you are still going on about it -and anyone decent either thinks you are screwed up for your inability to let go .........or just quietly drop you because you are revolting in your gloating and cruelty.
The best revenge is to be happy- maybe one day you'll realize that and the bitterness and need for revenge will ease. You poor sod.itchyextremist wrote: »I think saddling an ex with loads of debt is the best revenge possible. Nothing messes up someone's life better than screwing with their money. Or the person with the debt could come to an arrangement that allows them to pay off in smaller amounts, they could enter into an IVA. I had a boss who racked up 50 grands worth of debt and had a second job but got to the point where they could hardly keep their head above water. They sorted out an IVA and Im not saying that's always the wisest thing to do, but if someone has been saddled with another person's debt (and I know someone it has happened to), there are ways of sorting things out without them being subjected to endless poverty.
Which makes the person sitting rubbing their hands with glee at someone's misfortune a bit of an !!!! as far as Im concerned.0 -
Best just to say off you go then to the partner and let them get on with it. There's plenty of new people to meet and no need for anyone to be hankering after someone or planning revenge.0
