I am more than sure that loss will be back on me on Monday, but thank you all, sadly I don’t think it was a real loss just from being ill! I have also more than made up for it with pub lunches, Chinese, pizza, cooked breakfasts etc when I was away so really trying to reign it in now big time!
I just want to snack all the time so need to go get some speed foods for snacking. I can quite happily sit with a bag of mange tout or sugar snap peas. With me sometimes its just about eating not even necessarily what I am eating!
Going to have salmon and veg for tea and a big salad for lunch.
Really got to sort my clothes out in the spare room this weekend, I’m still running around in my winter jumpers.
I could do with a skip right now to be honest the amount of junk needs out of the house.
I hate clean jeans day Maman, its frightens me the thought of it lol! You’ve put me in the mood for potato bravas now! And I feel like a paella of sorts of the weekend.

    Morning all

Thanks for the chart Shala and well done Lantanna for SOTW :T

I'm on my own today as DH is playing golf. Its a lovely day here again but the site is empty so I'm twiddling my thumbs in the shop. We take orders for papers so we know we'll get a certain number of customers and today we had 4 and there's 2 left. We're only open in the mornings in the low season so at least I can get out and enjoy the sunshine this afternoon.

Jocko - love the matter of fact way you reported in with a gain of 1 stone! I bet that raised some eyebrows in the group :rotfl: Is the strategy for next week a small loss, followed by light clothing, no tea, and empty pockets the week after so you get SOTW? :D

Tonight I'm going to cook the Cajun chicken recipe that SW are promoting at the moment and I've got some vermicelli pasta left over from something so I'll cook that and mix it in. Today's breakfast was full English, SW style, due to DH playing golf today and I'm not sure what lunch will be yet - I've got both HEs to use so the world's my oyster.

The LM sausages worked really well with the sausage ragout last night, even DH enjoyed them and he's not keen on veggie foods.

Just had a delivery of souvenirs so better get on with some work.

    Have a good day everyone.

    LL :)

Changes to be made to todays menu; I didn't get chance to eat before taking wonder bairn for her jabs so:

breakfast: 5 small white choc buttons (I'll say 5 syns to reprimand my carelessness) a small tub of fresh diced pineapple and a banana (care of bf's mum - she does look after me :) )
lunch: nipping home to pack bf's car for tonight so will stick with my jacket potato and beans and have it with some left over chicken and some salad. Potentially so grated cheese from a HeA portion
at training: sweet clem, apple, special k cracker crisps (5syn) and I was thinking I may take a ham sandwich made on a 60g kingsmill wholemeal roll - fills in my missing HeB and means I don't have to think about food for me when I get home :) will possibly add one of those new laughing cow craving cube thingies which I think are 0.5syn each - will check that on one of the syns Facebook groups - they are very small but perfect for replacing butter/spread and a little hit of extra flavour too. (will feed wonder bairn some left over pasta bake and a fruit pot at training, bf will most likely get himself something from the chipshop or have a pot noodle when we get home)

I'm thinking about weigh in tomorrow and expecting a sts/very small loss. will be buying some new trainers at Cheshire oaks (never been before; hope they have some I like at a price I like!) as mine are actually walking shoes and are knacked now then I will have nice new shoes to wear to get out and about and so some walking etc. Found a new playgroup for my Mondays off, its by a park so I can couple a walk to/from playgroup with a couple of laps of the park (3 is just shy of a mile) and a quick play in the park for wonder bairn if we start going there then I do need to make more of an effort to walk at lunch. The gyms here are about 10/15mins from the office so can't going to go on lunch as I'd only be there 1/15mins though if my manager and I move to our other offices there is a gym right next door (part of the same stadium in fact) so I would look at joining that one...could be handy

Really need the winter jumpers here today lantanna. The lady on the bbc weather said it was likely to be the warmest day of the year so far - well I've got news for her - its bloomin freezing here today in the north east. :p:rotfl:

Talking of veggie food Lois - I have just completed my menu for wedding we are going to in august and have gone for the veggie lasagne. Even though we are not vegetarians we like some of the veggie meals. Have opted for melon and parma ham for starters (don't like terrine or veg soup). Main course was tempted by the roast beef/turkey and yorkshire pud but decided the lasagne would be more of a change for me and I can always treat myself to a yorkshire pud the day after for Sunday dinner. For desert I have gone for choc fudge brownie with rich dairy ice cream - could have had protiferoles or baked vanilla cheesecake with mango couli. All this food talk has made me peckish now :rotfl:

Had appointment with nurse and it turns out my bp is on the low side - probably meds and weightloss. Gp has requested to see me on Friday so that we can review everything and by then blood tests will be back so I will see how the old cholesterol is doing.

DH has just told me that he was talking to someone this morning and their hubby has had to lose weight as he has back problems and needs surgery. He has had weight loss surgery and she said he has done really well and lost 6st. Hubby told her that I had lost nearly 7st in about a year - asked him if he told her how I'd done it and 'he didn't think so' - I could have hit him as she probably thinks I have had surgery too. I don't think it would be an easy decision to go for wl surgery but at the end of the day you will still have to be careful what/how much you eat and I don't think you will have learned anything about healthy eating. Ok will get off my soap box now.

Decided on JP with tuna/tomato and huge salad. Will be having our evening meal (possibly Hairy Bikers Steak from freezer) early tonight as we will be going to see Dara O'Briain. Will have hexs when I get back for supper - maybe ryvita, cheese, cherry toms and a few olives. I was fascinated by your cornichons (sp?) maman and I decided to give them a go. Well got gherkins (I take it they are similar) and I love them sliced thinly. Woo Hoo more 'S' food. :j :rotfl:

Sorry for rambling on - good luck to anyone weighing in today.

Ok so today I am going to have an EE day.

B - 0% yoghurt with pineapple and mango
L- SW breakfast with beans, quorn low fat sausages, lean bacon, eggs and toast (HE)
D - Pulled beef with roast veg and rice followed by some fruit

HEX A - snack cheese during the day

Syns - Butter on the toast and a curlywurly later

Going out for a long walk in the park with the family today too and I am drastically cutting down my TV viewing so that I am more active as I spend a lot of time in the evenings sitting :o

I am quite sedantry in an evening too Rummer. Had read somewhere suggesting getting up and moving around will the tv ads were on or going up and down stairs so many times till programme comes back on. In reality this sounds like a good idea but we tend to record the evenings viewing and watch when we are ready and zap through all the ads until something catches our attention. Tend to only get up for loo visits or to the kitchen for supper :o

BEG - Someone asked me in a bar if I had had a gastric band last year. This is someone I just know their face from around not to speak to :rotfl:

I told him no and then proceeded to ask him how many sun beds he did in a week :rotfl:

Maman - You've started a craze with the Sausage Traybake, think I'm making one on sunday

DH has just taken delivery of some Sketchers. Saw them in town last week, liked them but wouldn't pay £56 for them as they were only for knocking around in most days. I told him that if he was wearing them often then they needed to be half decent. Checked online and found 40% off code on MSE with free delivery so that brought his shoes down to around £33 which he found acceptable. He isn't a meanie but begrudges spending much on clothing for himself and he likes a bargain. :rotfl: Wish now that I had looked for some for myself but code expired on Sunday I think. :(

The cheeky sod lantanna. Loved your comeback. :rotfl:

A male asked me a couple of weeks ago how much I had lost (I don't know him personally or very well). I just said 'oh a couple of pounds' and walked on. I can never think of a witty retort.
