Morning all
I weighed myself this morning and I'd lost another pound! I'm so tempted to update my previous weigh in result, but I'll leave it as is and hope for a good result next week. The scales were flashing on the next stone down which was quite exciting! (Little things!)
Tweets - those chocolates look yummy, enjoy them. The broken one wouldn't have made it back into the box, my OCD wouldn't let me and besides, broken things are free aren't they?
Shala - I couldn't get my head round putting butter in coffee either, just the thought of it makes me feel sick. The training methods they suggested looked very interesting - work as hard as you can for 2 mins, rest for 1 min, repeat for 20 mins.
Welcome Sandhy - do you go to a Slimming World group or are you going it alone?
I'm still managing to resist all temptation, but today is going to be a trial for both of us as we're doing fish and chips tonight. I've put a casserole in the slow cooker so we can't say, oh let's just have fish and chips and save time. Yesterdays temptation was a cream doughnut that was past it's shelf life, but it went in the bin.
Have a lovely weekend.

Hi Lois Lane and all the MSE SW community! Thanks for the welcome
I've been following this thread. I don't usually weigh myself every two minutes lol. I've been doing SW since 20th January and lost just over a stone so far. I really need to lose another two more at least. I'm doing it myself. Just using their website and getting inspiration from all the lovely people on here.0 -
Hi everyone, it's another 1lb loss again this week, thanks Shala.
The next couple of weeks are going to be a challenge, all that chocolate!!
On Easter Sunday my DGD is in a dancing competition at Blackpool Tower which is going to be for the full day, and we've been told that no food is allowed to be taken in at all, so no idea what I'll be eating on that day!!
Well done SOTW's and all other losers.I know mim has been there recently dancing so perhaps she knows more.
I was at the Tower last summer, we had a cream tea. However, on leaving I noticed there was a bar where you could order food. There was the usual pies, pasties & sandwiches but they also do Jacket Potatoes. Hope this hasn't come too late. We're going again next month.
Well done losers, especially you Shala, looks like you've turned it around! M&S do little boxes of Sugar free sweets inn rhubarb & custard and butterscotch. I get them the odd time they are nice.
I use the Ricola sweets too, love the liquorice. You can get the strawberries & cream ones from Aldi, they also do butterscotch, mint & mixed fruit packs. My DH has to ration them as they have a laxative effect on him, might be good for those having 'problems'

BEG - they say fat helps *move things along*, so try some butter in your coffee _pale_.. That's what grossed me out on that programme, Why would people do that??
OMG shala I've just watched that bit _pale_. Think I will have to watch out for a different 'remedy'. DH has offered to book some colonic irrigation for me - but I don't fancy going down that route either. :eek:Hi Lois Lane and all the MSE SW community! Thanks for the welcome

Have you thought of our joining in our Challenge Sandhy? I think we still have about a month to go on the current one. If you fancy joining in, just post your target for what you will like to lose til around 5th May and then post your loss each week in big red bold text and our lovely Shala will pick it up and add your result onto the chart. Not going to be a good weekend for me, got up at 3am this morning full of a cold and feeling rotten, came on here for a quick look and spotted

Aw meg sorry to hear you aren't feeling too grand today. They say you have to 'feed a cold' but perhaps they don't mean with choccies and fish n chips. Oh well, hopefully by Monday you will be feeling much better and able to get back on it.
Sounds as though you are determined to get that target tweets. Hope your determination is rewarded.
Re: the veggies wiggly. Frozen veggies are also handy to have in as they don't usually take too long to cook and you can just take out whatever amount you need. The packs of steam veggies are also an option.
Had banana at breakfast time. Refused hot cross bun at Mums mid morning. Lunch - fish sticks with huge salad followed by melon. Will have snack around 4pm and then tonight we have roast lamb dinner. Didn't get the frozen yorkshire puds as one just never seems sufficient to tick the box so I decided not to bother with them.

Afternoon all and hi to newbies :hello:[oldie here

I have just noticed Iceland sells kangaroo burgers and other animals. I can [hopefully] eat the kangaroo as they are gluten free. Can anyone tell me the syns please as we thought we'd give them a go for tea. They also do meatballs. How I havent come across these before I don't know, think I live in a bubble :rotfl:
I have been struggling with food this week, just finding my usual foods are giving me stomach ache. I did know coffee can be a trigger but have put up with it as don't drink that much but this week has been awful. Constant tummy pain is draining me. I dont seem to be able to drink it without eating something, breakfast is ok but if I have coffee on its own the pain starts. I would like to try a different drink but don't like tea or hot squash [not that keen on cold squash either]. Hubby drinks camomile and honey which smells lovely but haven't got the courage to try :rotfl:. I do like hot chocolate but that wouldn't be free. Any suggestions?
How you all have a good weekend :AIts not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T
