Hi all, just back from free eye test at Mr Ts. Finally have conformation im blind as a bat
. I get free tests anyway as mum & Nan had glaucoma, got worried when I had to have that test twice as results bit high in left eye but 2nd test was ok phew! Have astigmatism in left eye which wasn't mentioned last time so now have prescription for reading glasses. Didn't buy there as bit pricey so hubby is ordering online and of course they are purple
also had anti glare put on. Much cheaper than Mr T :money:. Hubby's eyes have deteriorated too, he works with computers all the time and when home is on his iPad or laptop (same as me
) which probably contributed to the deterioration. Hope his glasses are as cheap as mine
.
Any hoo, can anyone confirm/deny if dairy lea full fat spread is a HE please? Got a craving for itoh and a fridge full lol.
Has no one heard from our little green friend??
Forgot to say, Jock give me a wave from the broads as I'm in norfolk! Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

I know that HEXs aren't essential lush (just healthy) but they're built into the plan and would help to fill you up and stop you eating other things. On Easter Sunday my DGD is in a dancing competition at Blackpool Tower which is going to be for the full day, and we've been told that no food is allowed to be taken in at all, so no idea what I'll be eating on that day
I wonder if they'll check bags like they do at Wembley Stadium? You could always call and say you were on a 'special diet' and while your DS, DH etc were happy to buy food could you bring your own. Failing that, last time I was there (just for a coffee) once you had a stamp on your hand you could come and go as you wished, so you could slip out in search of something healthy. I know mim has been there recently dancing so perhaps she knows more.TakeItEazy wrote: »Hi all, just back from free eye test at Mr Ts. Finally have conformation im blind as a bat. 50g for a HEA and 6 syns per 50g beyond that tie. I just got a weird (but easy) version of syns online. Anyone else seen it?
My mum had glaucoma too. I hate that test with a puff of air so have found an optician who uses green dye instead.:)
Change of plan at lunchtime. I fed the LO pork to DH and had lentil and veg soup instead. I'm trying not to end up with LOs in the fridge as we're away Friday to Tuesday.0 -
Aw I've just seen this thanks so much  and well done Daisy! Well done all other losers and STSers this week and a big :grouphug: to those who've not had such a good week.
Gone a bit off plan today. My OH had to have a fasting blood test this morning so wasn't allowed any breakfast and I was a lazy moo and got up too late to grab anything - so we ended up having a bacon sarnie on the way back. Lunch was pre-packaged tuna mayo sarnie with salad, god knows how many syns in there but it was yummy. Tonight we're trying the syn-free Linda Mccartney sausages with mash and green veggies. WI tomorrow so will see if my bread gorging has affected anything0 -

with me I have never had the reported burning smell, I am guessing the people who initially tested it, were using a high heat.
I recommend it! Keep the heat on medium though.

Thanks for the heads up on the Asda bargains meg. I won't need to do a shop until next week but if they're starting to compete with Aldi and Lidl on food other than junk then I'm delighted. It IS possible to do SW without breaking the bank.;)
Similarly, what you posted Smedley is value for money for anyone who prefers organic or wants the coconut flavour. I don't eat yogurt but DH seems happy enough with Aldi at £1.10 per litre, just uses it to pour over muesli. I've got masses of frylight in stock as it was £1.50 a pack recently.0 -
Have had a day off sick today! I'm falling apart! Back to post properly tomorrow! Take care all0
