Hi everyone.. Well it's been a roller coaster of a few days here.. My head is mashed to say the least! I won't go into details but it seems I've been grieving for someone who has turned out to be very much alive.. Cruel and sick of the person who told me and the feeble excuse given for doing so... Drawn a line on that relationship and moving on big time!

My birthday was a bit of a washout, kids took me out but wasn't really in good form for obvious reasons.. Will have to make it up to them!

Onwards and downwards for me now!.. I've decided to set my target at 5 stone lost so 13.5lbs to go.. Eek! ;)

Tried the ras el hanout chicken from the new mag last night, didn't put on skewers, very nice will do again http://instagram.com/p/00Xvaimjft/

Oh dear sorry to hear that Mitch, but glad your friend has not passed away. A very cruel thing to do not matter what the reason.

Congrats on setting your target. Less than a stone to go:T

Do you find the recipes in the magazine are good?

Yes DH and I like most of the ones we have tried and from the website. The only thing I would say is you need about half the liquid they say!

Often use recipes from the mags, books and online.. Agree on that.. Every recipe states far too much stock / liquid for me!

Working tonight... Must resist the crisps! :p chilli, rice and sweet potato chips for tea http://instagram.com/p/03AbctGjcl/

Took me all of last year to lose half a stone so hopefully it won't take that long again :)

Hi all, popping in to very happily report a

4.5lb loss this week please Shala! :j

I'm really happy about that - it's down to exercise, I'm pretty sure. I did a charity mile walk midweek and 20mins treadmill yesterday, plus a few extra stair climbs at work for good measure.

Hope everyone is doing well and has a good week xx

    Wow, fab loss jps :T:T:T

I've just downloaded a C25K app, not sure if I'll manage it but gonna have a wee go on my treadmill, was never a good runner.. No stamina, dodgy knees and pesky airbags get in the way :rotfl:

Aw big hugs lantanna - my fellow monday night weigher-iner :D. Hope the abs kick in soon.

How bl00dy cruel can some people be mich. Go on and be like the queen and celebrate your birthday again with your family when you are feeling in a better frame of mind. If its good enough for her then it good enough for you.;) Good luck and getting to your target.

Re: SW recipes - most we have tried have been lovely but as others have stated - far too much liquid. As recipes don't use much thickening ingredients - the amount definitely need to be reduced. Enjoy wiggly. :D

Well done on amazing loss jpscloud :T

Getting ready to leave shortly for wi and it is bloomin pittling down :(. Have tried to pull back the over indulgences we had when we were away - watch this space

Thanks Mich! I think exercise really makes a difference for me, I must try and do it again this week.

I'm so sorry to hear about the lie you were told, what a horrible thing for someone to do. Best of luck with your target!

Thanks Blue eyed Girl! You are such a love, always there with encouragement. Thank you :)

I hope to be less of a lurker after Weds when we break up for a couple of weeks!
