    Morning All :)

Snacking is still ongoing, will try my very best to rein it in today :o May be too late for WI tomorrow night though :( I am an idiot :(

Exercising is going well though, did a 5k walk with bits of running in last night and am definitely getting faster. Week 2 of C25K starts this evening :)

If only I was eating on plan as well as getting my exercise these last few pounds would be dropping off me. May have scuppered my 4.5 stone shiny for this week but I've got 4 full weeks of exercise in so will get bronze body magic.

Gonna have to draw that line, take a deep breath, and next week I will be good!

Hi I always buy aldi light cheese triangles and have been using them as my hexa. They were on the Syns online calculator as a hexa and now are not?? Anyone any the wiser??
    Thanks
    Sal

I'd just keep using them, I think you can have 4. It's not done you any harm up to now. I recall the book does state that an own brand equivalent of a brand is ok, so you could count it as an own brand version of laughing cow.

Lol love this. Told my DH and he said not quite as I can still talk whilst eating chocolate but duck tape is another matter:eek:. Maybe I should use the duck tape to help with all my eating :rotfl:

    :rotfl::rotfl: brilliant...

I thought SW had rigourously tested all the ready meals? Why are they wanting to change them... ;) didn't taste as nice as they thought perhaps? hmmm...

Well this is day 1 of following the SW main meals in there 7 day planner thing.. today Sechuan (sp?) pork and noodles.

I forgot to look at the breakfast/lunch so i've had to make that bit up :rotfl: i'm always the same "half a job shala_moo"

    B - banana, yogurt, granola (3)
L - left over pasta bake, apple
    T - Sechaun Pork & noodles
S - milk and cheese in pasta (hea) crisps(4.5)

Some syns left as i attacked some thorntons last night :o and i have to make up my deficit :D had an awful migraine yesterday of the flashing light, being sick variety so i thought chocolate would cure it obviously... it didn't :o:rotfl:

Got back from weekend away yesterday afternoon and was then out to dinner for S-I-L's 65th birthday. Ordered sensibly but definitely some syns particularly on the starter which should have been very low syn - I ordered Moules Mariniere but didn't read the description underneath and when it turned up it was actually Moules a la creme! I shook off as much of the cream sauce as I could so reduced syns as much as I could.

Main was better, had the lamb rump with boiled new potatoes & veg so just a few syns for the oil used to roast the lamb & veg.

Also had a couple of glasses of red wine with it.

Have gone quite a lot over syns across the whole weekend but will draw a line under it, rein it in a bit from now to Wednesday and hope it's only another small gain on Thursday!

    Today will be EE:

B - scrambled eggs on toast; banana
L - jacket potato, baked beans; salad
    D - Beef cannelloni - from this month's magazine - 3 syns

As I've got the mozzarella out of the freezer I need to think of something to use the rest of it up over the next couple of days! Think I need to google some mozzarella recipes to adapt to SW!

Morning all. Bit of a disastrous weekend this end, don't really want to go into because this week is incredible hulk week so I'm in a bit of a grouchy mood if I'm honest!! Just going to try and stick to fruit for breakfast and soup for lunch most days, that seems to be working out for me at the moment. Will post in a bit more detail once I have cheered up a bit!xx

    Look forward to it daisy.:)

I've had Szechuan beef shala and it was delicious. Can't remember who but some kind person posted the recipe on here a while ago. I always add loads of mushrooms and sometimes beansprouts to the recipe which IIRC is mostly peppers.

I always feel a bit like you after a weekend denise i.e. lots of reining in to be done.

Today's another messed up Monday for me. I'll post breakfast and late lunch. If I'm hungry later I've plenty of cold pork and beetroot in the fridge.

    EE plan:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB porage, HEA milk
    L: SW Bolognese
Syns: squirt of syrup, bit of parmesan

I thought chocolate was one of those things that could bring migraines on  DH used to get attacks quite often but seems to have less of them these days. When the nauseousness passed - he could eat for England - so weird. Hope you are feeling better today.

  • Morning all

Have been AWOL for a couple of days but still reading. Had a hell of a weekend, managed to slice my finger instead of my veggies on Sat night, locked myself out on Sun morning and half trapped another of my fingers in my mam's glove compartment on Sun afternoon. They say these things come in 3s so I'm hoping that's the end of the bad luck :p

    Today's EE food is:
B - Weetabix & chopped banana, fruit for snacking
L - Jacket potato with tuna and salad
    T - ??

It's my other half's 40th b/day so we're out for a meal tonight - he's decided on Indian which I'm dreading as I'll have to try something other than my usual korma which according to syns online is a horrendous 25.5 syns  I'm such a wuss when it comes to curries I hate anything that's really hot. Been advised by someone at work who also hates hot curries to have a chicken shashlik - just need to work out how to say that without sounding like I've had one too many :rotfl:

    Have a super day everyone

ahhh that's how you spell it, i knew there was a z in there somewhere but couldn't work it out!! :rotfl:

i'm starting to like peppers now so i'll definitely add some in.. don't remember seeing it in the magazine, it looked like green veg.

Thank you.. i'm still a bit light sensitive but i'm ok now. mine are hormone related :( had them awfully when i was on the pill but now i've come off it i thought it would stop... how wrong i was :( still at least they are half as bad now..

Denise - you'll have to let us know how the canneloni went, i liked the look of it but i can't be doing with the faffy little tubes!
