Me too, I have been getting up at 05:30 every morning recently, wonder if those who are able to, get their body clocks aligned?
Weird.
Re: Weight loss challenge
WI –1.8 lbs please Shala & team, thanks for charting everyone.
Congratulations to those STS'ers and losers.
To those on the challenge but didn't lose, keep at it, it's about the big picture, you can better see losses over a monthly oversightSW loss= 15.5kg / 2st 6.2lb0 -
Afternoon people
Just popping in to say well done to losers and stsers. Commiserations to anyone struggling atm.
Meg - keep up with the funnies please they always make me smile.
You are so right Smedley when you say to look at the whole picture when things don't seem to be moving. This is exactly what my consultant said to me last wi when I was grumbling about having a little gain followed by little losses despite 'being a good girl'. It is just hard to see it that way sometimes. Hard work usually gets rewarded .......... sometime
Today so far
Breakfast - fruit
Lunch - 1 slice corned beef (change from ham), loads of salad, cherry toms and beetroot and a little bit of ltl salad cream. Left off eggs as they may be contributing to 'loo issues'.
Snack - satuma
Dinner - Hm broth (got a lovely pack of Sainsbobs cooking bacon really lean and nice and thick for less than £1.50 I think it was) and Activia Creamy Yoghurt
Supper - hea and heb - to be decided later depending on how hungry I am
Need to deliver s-i-l's anniversary card (for tomorrow) and I just cba - have had quite a lazy day really and I think that is the reason for the lethargy. :rotfl:

Indeed, people forget how old their body is, and how long the weight gain took to show itself to the present time.

Unfortunately the converse of that is also true. If you've 'been a bad girl/boy' it will catch up with you. So when you listen to people at group telling you they've eaten their own weight in pizza and still managed a loss they'll get their come uppance.
P.S. Or they could be lying or they have been reining in like mad ever since.
Sounds like you're having a lovely time catching up with the family lois. Will you write a meal plan before you go shopping?0 -

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Or we all could take up a new pastime, based on the last weeks forum discussion, taking long walks in the woods, visiting every car park from dusk 'til dawn:)
They get plenty of exercise!
Do you know what I am referring to , LOL, haha
Think I will pass on that one Smedley:rotfl:
Dropped card off at b-i-l's, called at Mum's and had a cuppa and got attacked by a Cadbury's Choccie Finger - ok it could have been much worse but why did I even have it. One is never enough to hit the spot. :rotfl:
Broth is being heated up as I type. Will not have any bread as I might save that for suppertime and have cheese on toast with a little bit of chutney on.
