    Hi there,

For those of you that go to a group.

We are having a raffle for a hamper and we each have to take in an item of food.

Has anyone else ever done this and what did you take please?

    Thank in advance.

    Heather.

Great losses all three of you! Very well done!:T:T:T

Abbafan, we have a raffle every week at my group. It actually pays for itself in that the consultant makes arrangements for a box of fruit and veg from local greengrocer and pays for it using money from previous week's raffle. We also have a Slimmer of the Week basket that we each try to bring something for. I'd suggest you contribute something that's very SW friendly, ideally syn free and maybe non perishable too. So tins of something like tomatoes or baked beans or passata or tomato puree that everyone uses would be fine I'm sure.

I had an OK meal in the pub. Really enjoyed it but although I ordered steak, salad and JP they served it with onion rings and butter for the potato. Then I came home and had a Finn crisp with camembert. So next week when I'm moaning that I haven't lost anything remind me why!;)

    Hiya :)

Reporting a 2lb loss this week and I'm pleased ~ still heading in the right direction :j

I now weigh 12 stone! As some of you might know that's just a smidge over 3 stone gone since January when I started. I really need to shift at least another stone.

Does anyone else think the same as me ~ that at one time I would have been mortified to weigh 12 stone.
40 years ago I weighed 9 stone now my target is 11 . I guess life moves on and age has made me move the goal posts! :rotfl:

    I'm 5'7"

I've been loving the SW food planning though :) really is working for me!

Hello and Happy Friday to all. :j

I haven't posted in a little while but I am fed up with buying countdowns and being the same weight as I was when I started them!

I have a big family catch up/party later in the year which will inevitably mean lots of photos and I don't want any photos of me looking like I do.

So I'll try to catch up with you all and post and share menus etc.

    Have a good day x

Sandy I'm 5.5 and the lightest I have ever been is 10.5 and I think I would look ridiculously ill at 8 or 9 stone as all these celebs claim to be. 11 stone sounds like a good sensible weight for someone at 5.7.

Maman That was naughty them throwing on the onion rings:rotfl:

Def look for the book in the library Saverupper I really enjoyed it and I'm a tough one to please with books. I lose interest quickly

    BEG You've been busy!

    Well done all the losers!!

    STS FOR ME PLEASE SHALA
Happy enough with this, have maintained the 3 from last week and that should set me up nicely for a loss next week. I have been in the gym 3 times already this week and can feel everything starting to tighten up again and I've a size 12 top and trousers on today so happy enough with my progress this week.

    B: Muller & Oats

    L: Salad of some sort

D: LO Chili with Mixed Veg & HE Cheese

Snacks: Square of Dark Choc and Gin:rotfl: (Can't predict the quantity )

Great loss Sandy :T. I was going to say that I have never been 9st but I suppose I must have been once ... on the way up :o :rotfl::rotfl: [STRIKE]If I ever get back to 11st [/STRIKE] WHEN I get back to 11st I will probably be reviewing target. I am also 5'7". In an ideal world 10st would be nice but I want something that I can maintain for good this time.

Lovely to see you back FE :hello: Lovely to have family party to look forward to.

Someone mention onion rings:whistle: When we were out on Tuesday with family, DS ordered a portion of onion rings 'to share' and then it was upped to 2 portions - well I just had to have my share didn't I? It would have been very rude not to - yes even though I was having fish and chips why not :rotfl: They were delish - lovely and fresh and crispy nom nom. :D Hope you enjoyed yours maman ;)

Off to Sainsbobs now - oh joy :D

Welcome back Flat Eric. Definitely share your menu plans on here and someone will always help if it looks as though something isn't quite right, you can get very complacent when you've been doing it a while! and if you're short on the Speed foods the food police (Maman) will soon let you know, LOL:rotfl:

Glad we're having some good weather this weekend as we're away again in the motorhome:T:T. Will be getting some body magic in with lots of walking - trouble is there will be a lot of drinking as well:rotfl:.

    Having a Green day today:

    B - scrambled eggs on toast (HEB1)
L - HM beanburger in WM bun (HEB2)
D - HM veg curry/rice - so plenty of Speed veg:)

HEA will be milk in tea as usual.

Syns - red wine; may also syn a Ryvita or 2 with butter if peckish during the evening (usually when DH gets out the crisps!!!)

Did manage to save a few syns yesterday as didn't have butter on the evening Ryvita but used up the last of the HM hummous!

    Have a great weekend everyone.

So my first post has to be about breakfast? I've been really rubbish recently at having anything decent mainly because I've been leaving the house just before 7am to get into work early.

I've never been a big breakfast fan but I need to sort it because its really scuppering my sw days.

What do you have for breakfast?

Flat Eric - If I am at work I will have oats & yogurt, sometimes with a bit of fruit mostly not though. The odd Alpen light bar features too with a yogurt or some chicken.

Once a week I will have toast or a roll / s with ham or chicken. THIS IS A ONCE A WEEK TREAT AND IT HAS TO BE KEPT TO THAT FOR ME SADLY

If I am at home I usually go out on a Saturday for Breakfast and have Beans, grilled bacon, poached eggs, wholemeal toast and this is my lunch as well.

On a Sunday I don't really tend to bother and just start with a brunch of some sort.
