    Brrrrrr will someone please assure me it is August isn't it? feels more like November have put the heating on, hope your boiler sorts itself Lantanna.

    Well was up bright and brezzy this morning expecting to welcome my DGD back from Peru only to get message that they missed the flight last night and now wont be back until tomorrow, so need to keep busy today to take my mind of it, its a bit worrying as they have nowhere to stay and not sure how funds are or what arrangements have been made. I feel so sorry for the teacher it must be a nightmare for her.

    Watching the match in the pub is ALMOST as good as being there – but, as you say, it’s more risky eating wise, maman - you can't get away with just a Crunchie!

    Back to normal tomorrow – car to garage by 8.30, home by 9.30 (fingers crossed), DH bowling afternoon and I’ve just realised I need to take DD to work and look after DGS from 4.30, BUT I have to get back to pick up my car (all day job, they say). DH says he’ll be finished by 4, but things could be neat getting to garage before it closes! Ooops! Also means we will have DGS if we decide to eat out as he has dinner with us! How could I have forgotten; just as well DD mentioned that “she’d see me tomorrow” on the phone just now!

    Denise, a wee chilling warning - my DD and DS were teenagers once!

    I feel for you re heating, lantanna. We had that issue last week. We have an air source heat pump system, which has an extended warranty, but it was a circulation problem which does not, so we had to cough up and then this week we had to get and pay the annual maintenance for the heat pump (not part of the warranty grrrrr).

    BTW I have done hee haw so far today. I need to get to ironing, shorten legs on a nice pair of those flowery trousers I got in Tesco's sale and make an anniversary card for DH. I think I'd better get a jildy on!

    We're on the south coast and pretending it's summer. Allegedly it's 19 degrees and keeps clouding over and rain promised later. Great!!

    My EE plan for today:
    B: NAS Ribena, HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, baked beans
    L: lentil and veg soup
    D: corned beef hash, cabbage, carrots
    Syns: corned beef, scrape of spread

    I'm dithering whether to go to WI at teatime (usual consultant not usual group) or leave it until tomorrow morning. Teatime I won't have had my (little bit synful) dinner against morning WI after cereal breakfast which is what I'm used to. I'll decide on how bloated I feel later this afternoon.

    ETA: meant to say try not to worry meg. I'm sure teachers will sort it all out, they'll be in safe hands. She'll be back tired and happy. I know how you feel, my DGD went to LA last February with college and I tracked her plane on my phone all the way back!

  • -1lb for me this week.
    That is my last official weigh in for the challenge as our holiday goes Wednesday to Wednesday. I will be back at class on 2/9/15 to see the damage although I have 6 days before we go and 6days once we get back to try and limit the damage.
    Thanks for running the challenge Shala, I'll join in the next one to try to get to my target in time for Christmas.

    Hi, Will you take me back , yet again?

    This time I have joined a SW group as the online membership wasn't working for me. My first four weeks have been as follows;
    Wk 1 lost 4lbs
    2. gained 2.5lbs
    3. lost 3 lbs
    4 gain 2.5 :(

    I am dreading WI this Thursday. I have checked my eating, found too much sweetcorn, missed a few HEBs, just 3 in four weeks.

    I have completed a week of SAS and have found a few mistakes in counting syns but still not over 15. I am struggling to eat three meals still. I had breakfast today at 11am, I planned to have soup for lunch but am really not hungry. Yesterday I was so stuffed with food I just wanted to sleep.

    Today's plan is;
    B toast HEB, 2 poached eggs and baked beans, tea with skimmed milk from HEA allowance
    L SW vegetable soup
    D Salmon risotto with mixed vegetables

    fruit during day pear, satsuma, peach as snacks
    business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

    Thanks Maman and Beanie yes I am sure youre right, is just that after her being away 25days , camping in a Peruvian jungle, climbing the Mountains and looking for Caymans I was so relieved to know she was on her way home safe and sound=, Its just a shame that its turne out this way. The teacher, bless her arranged a last minute supprise for the kids, they would have had an 9 hour wait at the airport so she arranged a short visit to New York for them, she asked all the parents before they went, So they had a lovely extra visit but due to a horrific accident when a
    truck crashed under a bridge and caught fire they were held up in traffic for hours so missed the flight.

    Aww well she should be home tomorrow and I have a sparkling clean kitchen as its my thing to get out the steamer and attack when I am stressing. lol anyone else do that.

    Lol of course you are welcome back, many times as you like, just believe it will work when you are ready to do it, your 4 weeks looks a lot like mine did when I started, lose some gain some
    but if you take it overall you are losing more than gaining so alls good.
