That's brilliant and you, too, joee. So pleased for you both.:T:Tgreentiger wrote: »It’s Lake Garda this time, maman. I love Italy and we’ve only passed through this region before.
We’ve had globe courgette in our veg delivery a few times – hadn’t thought of stuffing them though; I must try that. How long do you cook them? Temperature?
I used this recipe as a guide to temperatures and timing although I had the mince ready cooked from the weekend. I scooped out the inside of the courgette, chopped it and stirred it into the mince. I just sprayed the courgette 'cups' with frylight and a bit of seasoning and put them in the oven in a pyrex dish.
I love Italy too. If possible, I'd try and get to Verona while you're there and I liked Vicenze, the Teatro Olimpico was well worth a visit. In fact, heaps of great places in the area. Have a great time:).
It's my anniversary next week too (Thursday) but at just 35 years, I'm a newly wed!:rotfl:
Feeling much brighter today. Although today's clean jeans were the same size and brand as yesterday's they felt much better and the skirt I put on tonight to go dancing fitted fine. Got in loads of Body Magic. I might even risk a WI later in the week.0 -
Does anybody know.........
If today I have had 15g cheddar cheese (1/2 a HEX A),
AND
140ml skimmed milk (less than half HEA of 350ml),
can I count that as 1 HEA,or do the measurements have to be exactly half??.
If the former,it saves me 5 syns :j.
I have heard it said that if the measurements are not exact, even if they are under,it needs to be synned. Not sure if that is true.I understand needing to syn if over, but not sure about under.SPC #36 :staradminx 8.SPC7=£751.10 SPC8=£651.04 SPC9=£843.00 SPC10=£872.76

Just realised that I haven't been on today. Had a fast get out this morning as took DS2 to nursery and then I was taking DS1 to the pictures. Got half way there and he realised he had no glasses so about turn and back for glasses
I have had to do exactly the same for my DS,TWICE in the 4 months since he has worn glasses. At 6 weeks off the age of 12,you would think he would be in the habit by now.........

Saver-Upper - I've heard that too but it is one of the fallacies surrounding SW! Definitely count it as HEA and save the 5 syns. You'll be slightly lower in calcium as you've had slightly less than quoted as HEA.
Another EE day for me today:
B - bacon & mushroom omlette
L - tuna mayo & cucumber sandwich (HEB + 2)
D - steak, chips, mushrooms, onions & salad with FF dressing
HEA will be milk in tea throughout the day.

Glad your feeling happier Maman! Good news on the skirt and the jeans.
Oh lovely Greentiger, Lake Garda sounds amaze, I've always wanted to go there!
Gym was done last night
Think I might try and have as much speed today as possible :rotfl: Haven't had a grapefruit in a long time might pick up one of those later
I'm on a half day on Friday and meeting a friend for lunch and a few drinks. We are going to a Japanese Place I've been to before and it won't be hard to get something packed with veg and with boiled rice:cool: She'll be on the cocktails but I'll be sticking to my gin0 -
Hello all, been a very busy summer so far for me. Very happy with a 3lb loss this week (thanks for the chart as always Shala), but finding it so hard to keep off the junk.
Good luck all!I believe in the freedom of spinach and the right to arm bears.

I've heard that too but it must be a myth as I've not seen it in black and white anywhere. When I started I'd conscientiously finish off the milk in a late night coffee to make sure I'd had my full HEA but no longer. I remember when we had a relief consultant telling us you don't have to have HEXs at all if you don't want to as they're extras. There are other ways of getting calcium like sardines for example so don't worry about a drop of milk.
I had Sainsbury's NAS Pink Grapefruit squash last night at my dance class. It was one of the sharpest NAS drinks I've tasted so I'm keeping that in mind for the future. I really like a drink first thing in the morning and I think juice is a waste of syns.
Good to hear you're getting out lantanna. I had am amazing Japanese meal once. I think they call them teppanyaki counters where the chefs cook a stir fry in front of you. I'm not likely to be back there any time soon

but we do have a Chinese locally that does much the same so I'll have to be content with that!:rotfl:
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB toast, scrambled eggs, milk for drinks
L: cold meat, LO fried potatoes and veg, pickled cabbagecold gammon slices, chips, tomatoes, mushrooms, green beans
Syns: squirt of HP sauce0 -
Just typed a big reply and it disappeared!! How rude
Wow that place looks amazing Maman, never say never though!
I've just worked out its been 7 weeks yesterday since I've had a Chinese, I've went right off them! It keeps crossing my mine and I keep thinking urgh now!
I'll probably get steak with asparagus rolls in a black pepper sauce with some green beans done in garlic and chilli on the side or something lovely like that! Love it when you go out somewhere where you can order relatively healthily guess its really only syns for oil used and maybe some of the less healthy sauces. I'll be avoiding the deep fried items even though they do a fantastic salted chili squid!
Have been out to get my grapefruit :rotfl: and have planned a salmon fillet with BNS wedges, steamed baby corn, broccoli and green beans for dinner.
If I go to the gym I'll treat myself to a square of my 70 % dark choc when watching tv with my camomile tea before bed. 3.5 syns. Feeling in control :j Would love one of this week just to help keep the momentum going!
Still trying to up the fluids0 -

But it was there for a few minutes, I saw it! How odd???
Great to here you 'in the zone'. seem you're really getting back to your old self after the op.
While the Chinese I was talking about can be greasy/all you can eat, it does have a counter where you pick up fresh ingredients and take it to the guys who do stir frying. They use minimal oil and soy so very healthy if you just add plain rice. The trouble is the spring rolls and chips always call to me on the way back to the table.;)

I went to edit a typo and it disappeared on me and I went back in and it was gone, then by the time I'd typed the 2nd one I saw it was back unedited so then I deleted it :rotfl:
Its the chips get me with a Chinese! I always have to have chips and rice which is why I'm better of staying away :rotfl:0
