    Morning troopers,
Mumoftwo when you put your thins/bakes in the toastie maker do you still egg wash them? I quite like the idea of a sweet one like apple or berries, with a bit of squirty cream... It would up the speed content for the day too, although I guess technically if you used cooked Apple you'd have to syn it)

no, I don't egg wash them, I suppose you could. I did syn the cooked apple but it was only 1/2 syn.

Well done to all the losers out there and congratulations to Lantanna on being SOTW :j:T:j:T Congratulations too to our meg on getting to target and back to saving those fivers. :T:T:T Well done to everyone who has had a NSV - it's not all about the numbers. :D

Thanks for the chart shala - you are a star :A

Well another really bad day foodwise here but a line will be drawn so that in the morning it will be a new start. There - I have stated it here and it will happen. I have enjoyed my few off plan days but I think I will be sort of relieved to get back onto it tomorrow and get some sort of self-discipline back into my eating.

Tomorrow = new day = new start ;)

Oh I've never heard it called that. I just think it lasts until the next time I overindulge and get caught.:o I do know I'm a Diamond member though.
Thank you joedenise and maman for the advice on splitting HE's.It is almost as fun trying to find ways to save syns as money :D.

And I like to find as many ways as I can squeezing Speed food into things!:D If that had been me making chilli I'd have added diced carrot, peppers and mushrooms and at this time of the year thrown in some courgette as well. Then it makes a balanced meal without needing extra veg.

Do have a good rest tomorrow greentiger, ferrying all the grandchildren sounded manic. Just realised a possible off plan meal coming up as we'll probably go to the pub on Thursday evening to watch Europa second leg. So now I must go to WI on Thursday morning. I'll be angelic tomorrow.

Just having first cuppa of the day and I am pleased to say that I feel quite happy to be getting back on the SW bus today :D.

DH got dental appt this morning to have a root removed  When he gets back I think we are going to be cutting Mum's conifers and a few other bushes - I told him it will be a distraction for him and will be Body Magic for me (win win I say :rotfl:)

Weather doesn't look too promising here - wasn't supposed to rain until late afternoon - don't think it is going to wait that long before it arrives. It's very cold too - I've just knocked the heating on.

    Have a good day everyone.

Morning all, went over syns again yesterday so need to cut right back today but wouldn't be surprised if I have a gain this week.

I felt tired reading about your day yesterday greentiger!; I'm glad I don't have that problem with having to run round after grandkids - mine are teenagers now!

Well done Meg on getting your Life Membership - I've never had my certificate and I've been at target for over 4 years now! What are you going to treat yourself with all the fivers you save?

I'm like you Maman with adding Speed foods to food rather than having to have them separate. Planning on putting a chilli into the SC tomorrow but it will be to reheat Friday night when we're away in the motorhome. I've really missed not getting away for the weekend the last couple of weeks!

Well done Lantanna on SOTW; you've definitely sounded far more upbeat and in the zone lately.

Now to today's plan - a Green day:

    B - scrambled eggs, beans & mushrooms
L - cheesy "pizza" using Thin (HEB1) topped with tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, peppers, cheese (HEA1)
    D - chicken jambalaya (chicken HEB2)

HEA2 will be milk throughout the day in tea.

Will try to keep the syns really low today!

Weather is awful here BEG!!! Truly awful.

Talking of heating, my electric went off yesterday and now my boiler won't come on, so I'm really really hoping its sorted its self out by the time I get home or there will be an unexpected bill

Thanks for SOTW that's spurred me on another wee bit!

Went to the gym last night and did 45 mins on the treadmill, sweat lashing off me.

Well done Meg! That's great news :T

Got my breakfast and dinner sorted today just got to figure out lunch. Weather wise think I'll start on the hotpot and soups soon!
