Lunch: lentil soup (yes, on the hottest day of the year so far!), WW toffee apple yogurt ( ½ syn), cherries

Snacks: HM biscuit (4 syns)
Friday’s feast will be
Breakfast: hexb salty porridge made with water, splash milk, banana
Lunch: hexa cheese omelette, salad, yogurt

Good luck everyone.Sewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400 -
For the colleague's retirement meal, I had a look at the menu online, they also have specials on blackboards.
I probably opt for the 10oz rump steak and king prawn salad. How many syns is this? Salad dressing is in a pot on the side. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Same here wiz. I'll be at a funeral at 11.45.:(
:T to all losers and hope the talk with solicitor goes well hanert.
Have a great holiday denise. Enjoy it and sort out any gains when you get back!
scarlet, your meal as posted should be free but then add syns for any dressing you use or sides of chips or onion rings or .... Hope your colleague behaves herself!
I've had an indulgent day. Didn't manage lunch and then went out for posh afternoon tea and decided to go for it. DH was shocked, he even told the Mayor (charity function) 'My wife won't eat much of this'. How wrong was he????:rotfl:Enjoyed sandwiches, scones with jam and cream but balked at cupcakes far too sweet for me). DH raved about smoked salmon sandwiches so that'll go on the summer menu PDQ, I love the stuff.
So today I've had SW breakfast (Baked beans and HEB toast) and quick dinner (burger, oven chips, peas, tomatoes, onions and mushrooms). Will try harder tomorrow as like denise I want to be bottom of range for my holiday but no idea when I'll fit in a shop.
beanie, best saying of all for today and every day: 'Keep Plodding!!'0 -
Menu today:
Breakfast: 1 apple,1 mandarin
Snack:1 apple,handful of plum tomatoes
Lunch: salad: ham,egg,beetroot,yellow pepper,tomato,carrot,cucumber,cheese triangle (1.5 syns)
Tea: a bit of a mixed bag.It was too hot to cook too heavy food, but I still wanted something substantial,AND I wanted to try something I hadn't cooked before.Just wasn't sure what.
So I tried potato skins.3 different flavours(something for everyone in the House of Fussiness .)I made: -bacon,cream cheese and spring onion, absolutely delicious -cheese triangles and ham
-bacon,mushroom and cheese
These were served with diced and fried chicken pieces, corn on the cob, mange tout, tomato, mini sweetcorn. Not sure how to syn the potatoes (4 tab crreamcheese divided by 6 skins,I had 1.5,sprinkle of cheese on bacon/mushroom one-and the mushroom was hidden well enough that I wasnt aware of the texture
Late night dessert: meringue (3syns) with fromage fraise and strawberries. The meringue has a lovely gooey/chewy centre.Absolutely lush!
maman your suggestion for mealtime,of putting everything out and letting everyone help themselves worked really well.On the plates I had put the chicken, and corn on the cob.I then told the kids they can help themselves to everything else from the middle, but I do want everyone to try something they are not used to eating. For the first time since he was a very small toddler,11yo son tried plum tomatoes. Each one was eaten very cautiously-like he was expecting it to explode blue dye over him or something :rotfl:.But he managed 3 of them, and told me they would be quite acceptable in his lunch box :T.He also thoroughly enjoyed the potatoes with spring onion in them! He has never eaten spring onion before (to be fair to him,the only time I ever buy it is when I am on SW :rotfl:)SPC #36 :staradminx 8.SPC7=£751.10 SPC8=£651.04 SPC9=£843.00 SPC10=£872.76
