I feel like I've done nothing but eat this afternoon.Hopefully not too much damage done, since I haven't been using all my syns allowance every day.

Breakfast: 2 slices wholemeal toast(prob couple of syns because more than 60g),1 tsp flora light (1 syn),marmite
    1 mandarin
    Lunch:leftover vegetable curry,fruitopolis yoghurt (1/2 syn)
    Afternoon snacks:cheese triangle (1.5syn),2 Go-Ahead bars (7 syns)
Tea:chicken with HM bbq sauce (free),mash potato (1/2 syn Flora light),carrot and green beans
Evening snacks: 2  meringue nests (5 syns) with too much 1/2 fat creme fraiche,at 1.5 syn per tab,and strawberries
Milk: most, but not all of skimmed milk allowance.

I don't think I have eaten as many syns as this in one day since starting back on plan :o.Glad all the creme fraiche is gone.........:D

If you didn't use all of your milk them maybe your cheese triangle wasn't as synful as you thought.;)

Even though I'm not a yogurt fan, I like Total 0% as a cream substitute. That would be good with meringues and fruit, makes a good Eton Mess.

I like the sound of that new tray bake even better denise. Gets over the usual problem of SW recipes being too wet.

I ate a bag of crisps tonight. Only a small one from a multipack. I knew I shouldn't have had them in the house. I can't be trusted.:(

Well done, Lauri, lush, candyapple & jock.

lantanna, I love your positive attitude – it will help you so much to overcome whatever gets thrown at you. Hugs for your mum. No one knows what’s around the corner for us, so we need to make the most of today and not dwell so much on tomorrow that we miss out on opportunities and small pleasures.

Wow! Meg Rules!! You showed them!

I [STRIKE]may have been[/STRIKE] was a bit naughty today! I had some well ripe bananas to use up, so, as my 3yo granddaughter was over, we made banana and raisin muffins. She took some home with her and some were left here. I have eaten 2. I counted the syns in all of the ingredients and divided it by 12 and I work out that they are 7½ syns each. That means that with the planned butter I overdid my syns by 3. By the way, does anyone know if broad beans are free, or have syns? I had them with my fish tonight.

    Friday’s Menu

    Breakfast: bacon & baked beans
Lunch:hexb roast beef & pickled onion sandwich, Shape 0% fat yogurt
Dinner: lamb leg steak, potatoes, carrots, cauliflower
Snacks: choc digestive (4 syns), hexa mini babybel light & grapes, muffin (7½ syns)

    Hi everyone :)

Friday is my weigh in day ~I stepped on the scales this morning and found 2lb lost.

Very pleased as I didn't think it was going to be a good week . We had a family celebration and a meal out last weekend and I know I ate too much that day :( and it boogered my digestion afterwards too :(

Got back on track and no harm done though :)

2 stones gone since January :) (and about 2 stone left to go) :/

I dip in and out of this thread but as it's very fast-moving. It's hard to keep up.
I love all the support here. :grouphug:

As I'm going this alone it's like my own support group ~ thanks for everyone's contributions :)

Still a bit confused with some of what you say ~what does STS mean? Is it Stayed The Same?

    Morning all

Sandhy - well done, you've made great progress this year. You're right, STS is stayed the same. There are a few other acronyms that it takes time to get used to but just ask, someone will tell you.

I usually weigh on a Friday too, but I forgot this morning so it will have to weight :rotfl:

There's going to be double temptation this weekend - we're doing our first Pie Night tonight and then fish and chips as usual tomorrow night. I meant to check how many syns there are in a Pukka pie so I can frighten DH and hopefully stop him sampling the wares!

Have a good day everyone, long weekend coming up, and hopefully some nice weather. :D

We're away for the weekend so I need to sort out the food from the fridge/freezer/cupboards to take with us so at least the meals will be SW friendly - can't say the same about the drink:rotfl:

We've decided to eat out Saturday lunchtime at a restaurant near where we're going where they do a seafood paella which looks amazing! Assume I'll need to allow a few syns for the oil used!

Will be EE for the whole weekend. Today's plan is:

B - scrambled eggs on toast
L - LO mediterrean vegetables (the last of them:T)
D - savoury mince with lentils, mash, green beans & peas

HEA will be milk in teas throughout the day. HEB for bread.

    Syns will be weekend wine:D

We usually have a SW fry up when we're away for breakfast.
Lunches are usually a sandwich with cooked meat & salad although tomorrow we're hoping to have the paella.
All dinners will be HM freezer ready meals with which carb suits - mash, rice, pasta, couscous and veg if there isn't enough in the main part of the meal.

Have a good weekend everyone. Back on Monday.

Just logging in to report a sts for me, which is a miracle as I've been living on giant choc chip cookies and have been completely off plan.

DS is doing OK, had his ops and has started on the road to recovery. I must just say that to hear your 'baby' (even if he is 27) screaming in A @ E and in such pain as he was in, is the worst thing I have ever had to endure in my life, his face will live with me forever. Anyway we must now look forward, his job is safe thank goodness and the police are trying to sort out exactly what happened.

I have a few more questions which I will ask later, but for now it's back up to the hospital but I cannot go without thanking all of you so much for your kind thoughts and hugs, it really does help. Thank you x
