:T on the volunteering meg. Keep us posted.
 that's really disappointing I'll check the packs I have in the freezer (ETA: don't have dates as I took them out of the boxes)and maybe manage to pick up 'old' packs from local (smallish) store seems anything with an end date before March 2016 would be OK. Probably have to make my own now.:(
You should be OK with the packs you've already bought. Hope you have luck with finding some more with BB March 2016.
I suppose you could cook the pork and then make your own free sauce from the SW recipe. I know the packs are a relatively expensive way of eating pork but they don't have crackling on so may be worth it.
While you're doing that you might just as well bung a piece of shoulder in the SC and pour over your BBQ and leave to cook all day!
The website also said that if you didn't use the BBQ you should still syn the pork at 2.5 syns per 100g - because they can't guarantee the pork will be syn free! Doesn't make sense to me if it's just the sauce recipe that's been changed.
Do you think Tesco might have a rethink if SW members stop buying the Pulled Pork like when SW members stopped buying Alpen Lights when they changed the recipe? I'm sure they'll change it back if it affects their profits:rotfl:

Hi Mrs R - sorry you've been so poorly recently but glad you're feeling a bit better.
Your consultant sounds a nightmare. You can transfer to another group if you want to and also keep your target. Hope you can find another group which you can get to. Good luck with getting that lb off before next week so that you're still in target.
I think you might find it a bit easier to stay focussed on the plan with your holiday and graduation coming up in the next few weeks.

Great stuff, djenks and Matron.
Ooh a birthday, lantanna – enjoy! Save me a slice of that cake, please.
What an unsympathetic consultant, Mrs-R! Everyone goes to SW of their own free will, not as some sort of compulsory community service. Yes, it would be good to keep checking in, but we all have real lives to live and enjoy.
I behaved fairly well when I was out today and had mince, neeps and tatties for lunch, so a few syns there but not an overload. I did have a piece of fruit slice afterwards though.
Anyway, whatever the damage was, Thursday’s menu will be –
Breakfast: hexb toast, butter mmmm (3 syns), pear
Lunch: Batchelors pasta ‘n’ sauce - broccoli & cheese - tomatoes, beetroot, Shape 0% fat yogurt
Dinner: poached smoked haddock, baby potatoes, peas & broad beans
Snacks (hopefully, I won’t use them all): chocolate digestive (4 syns), hexa mini babybel light & grapes, 2 gingernuts (5 syns)Sewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400 -
Checking in with a -2lb for this week :j Thank you very much for the chart Shala
Lantanna - Happy birthday! Hopefully you've had a lovely day. I ended up going to the Balmoral Show on Wednesday & Thursday and had a great time, shame the weather wasn't as nice on Thursday.
Hanert - What a nightmare, I hope your sons op goes well tomorrow & that he makes a speedy recovery.
Meg72 - Loving your outlook on things & I'm sure the volunteer work will be very rewarding
Mrs_Ryan - I have to say that your consultant sounds like a right wee ray of sunshine! So unsympathetic & would've had my back up in a second with that attitude tbh. Glad you're starting to feel a bit better though0 -
You sound like you had it sussed yesterday saver-upper :T.. would you recommend the Fakeaway book? i do keep picking it up but i never buy it..
I keep forgetting to answer this, sorry Shala_moo.FOr the last 2 nights I have only remembered as the computer is shutting down.
Well,I bought the book lastyear, and this is the first time I have used a recipe from it,(because when you are off plan, you simpy go to the take-away itself, dontcha ) but yes,I think it is worth buying. Now I am back on plan, and doing alot more meal-planning,I think I am going to start using it more : curry,burgers,pizza,chinese.........so much to get through :rotfl:
Happy Birthday Lantanna :j:j
I have had a good day today.

Does anyone have a recipe for a nice vegetable curry. The one I make is nice, but not spectacular.I simply cook the veg in vegetable stock with something like this mixed in:
http://www.tesco.com/groceries/Product/Details/?id=276994615.
(not sure if this is mine exactly, but they have changed the tin design ).
It tastes fine, just not "rich" like an Indian curry.Do i

The BBQ beef was Aldi, however Morrisons do slow cooked brisket of beef which is also free.
Mrs R - you can transfer to another group and take your SW record/target with you.

So did I but I think it may be the one that's now got a new recipe that's 12 syns!:o
I'm going to try this
http://group.slimmingworld.com/recipes/bbq-pulled-pork.aspx
when I run out of what's in my freezer.
My SC only has low and high settings. Anyone know which I should use?
Good to see you back posting MrsR. You have been missed:). I think you've done really well to only be a pound off target after being off plan. Since I've been at target I only go to group every 3-4 weeks, mainly to keep access to the website. You can go to any group you like as your weight is logged on the central system. Sounds like your consultant has never heard of holidays or even ill health. Of course regular WI is a good idea but not compulsory.
Out with a friend tomorrow for coffee and then lunch. Will report back later.0 -
