Thanks, I've eaten nothing today, been up the hospital with my Son who was hit by a lorry as he was working, 2 broken legs concussion and bruised ribs, air ambulance was called. He's only been at this job since May 4th after being unemployed for 4 years! It never rains but it pours.... operating tomorrow and hopefully he wont need a skin graft but they're not sure. Sorry to ramble on but I'm in pain as it is and at the end of my tether, thank heavens I've reached my target as I can see me heading for the chocolate tomorrow. x

As promised here is the recipe for pork chops that I used last night.

Everything that LL said above.
I cook my steak the same way as the pork chops in the recipe above (without the brining!). They are always cooked how we like them after a few minutes - we like them to be still pink in the middle but no blood oozing out!
I'm giving SP a go today for a change. Think I've got it right!
B - mushroom omlette (S/P)
L - HM falafel (S/P + spices) in HEB pitta bread*(HEB + 1.5) x 2; salad (S)
D - mediterrean vegetables with cod & canelloni beans (S/P)
* pitta: I know these are no longer HEB but they used to be so I'm using here for convenience (I'm not suggesting others do but as I'm at target I feel I can do things like this occasionally:D). I've added an extra 1.5 syns to each as according to syns on line they average 7.5.
HEA will be milk in tea throughout the day as usual. Hoping not to have any other syns although sometimes I fancy a fruit split lolly after dinner which would be 3 syns.
It's WI tomorrow morning but expecting a gain after the very synful weekend away and not as much reining it in as I was hoping for!

Weighed in last night and have lost 0.5 pounds this week. Bit disappointing but hoping for a bigger loss next week. I've cooked various new syn free meals this week and also been varying my breakfast, which meant I was hoping for more of a loss but at least it wasn't a gain.0

Flying visit to wish our lantanna a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY :j:T:j:T
Our holiday start time has been delayed as friends mum (friend coming on hol with us) was rushed into hospital early this morning so we are just seeing how things are before we set off.

Wow there's an awful lot of cake on here this morning!!
Happy Birthday lantanna.:A Any plans?
Hope you got off OK b-e-g, have a great time.-2 for me this week :-) xxWeighed in last night and have lost 0.5 pounds this week. Bit disappointing but hoping for a bigger loss next week. I love hearing about losses. Well done both of you!:T:T
Thanks for the recipe lois and the extra info denise. I much prefer oven cooking to on the hob anyway. Will give it a try.
Your SP day looks fine to me denise.
My EE plan for today:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB toast, 2 fried eggs
L: JP, cottage cheese, beetroot and pickleschicken jambalaya (rice, garlic, peppers, courgettes, mushrooms, peas, carrots, tomatoes) with LO chicken.
Syns: squirt of HP, may have a bit of frankfurter in my dinner
I really need to make some soup for the freezer as lunch options are getting a bit limited. Lois, I remember you asking about beetroot the other day. I haven't cooked my own for years although it's very easy. Friends make fancy stuff like soup but I stick to basic, cold beetroot. I buy a vacuum pack from Aldi most weeks but am reasonably happy with pickled baby beetroot although it's a bit vinegary in comparison. Generally I have it with cold meats and fried veg or JPs but have been known to just eat it from jar with a spoon!0
