Yes low fat or no fat is the way forward, still doing SW but just not worrying about the numbers for the time being as I am down enough in general without worrying about that as well or putting myself under any other pressure and I am bloated and so uncomfortable its crazy!

Like everything different things effect different people, peppers which are obviously low fat set me off but yes high fat foods are not good for it at all. I think sadly cheese is going to have to go now. I know someone who lived off plain boiled pasta for months as coming up to their operation that was all they could eat. If I'm in this much flipping pain with it on a low fat diet I dread to think what I would have been like on my old diet pre SW years ago. Flipping bread of course does not effect me and sometimes its just easier to make a plain sandwich just to be able to eat something. Sods law isn't it.

Current problem is too tired to make things or even think about them just lifting things when I can.

For example today I've had a packet of sliced chicken, a tub of mango and a muller light.

Sad thing is it just seems to get steadily worse until you get fixed and most people who have suffered say this!

I'm hoping it is settling down for a little while as the pain was brutal with the infection so although I'm still inflamed it is just not as bad today. Fingers crossed I'm not sure I could cope with that again.

My sister knows someone got an infection and they were admitted to hospital to lie there for a week before being sent home again to wait for another 6 months for their op. Her like me just kept getting told your on the list have some more painkillers and go away.

My hands are tied there is not a lot I can do its all a bit of a disgrace cjjjE.gif

Check this out for a stick that's the kind of stick I'd like to give the NHS!! :rotfl:

2lb loss for me this week :D Not sure how deserved it is really as I went over my syns a few times this week but the good stuff must have outweighed the bad stuff so I'll happily accept it. According to SW website this gets me my Club 10 and 1.5 stone award so I'm over the moon. :j Well done to SOTW and fellow losers & STSers this week

I'm still snowed under with stupid revision so not posting but as you can see I'm still on plan (mostly!). Hope everyone's ok, huge hugs to those who aren't for whatever reason :lovethoug

Wrote long replies twice and both have disappeared :@

Lantanna - I'm here anytime you know that :)

I am genuinely shocked by the number of people who develop gallstones after losing a large amount in a short space of time ? I'd lost 4.5stone in 4 months and mine flared up after previously no pain?
Lantanna wonder when you can trace this pain back to starting?

Beanie I'm sorry for your loss.

I'm currently behaving as best as I can sw wise ;)
Started sw 02/09/13 - total loss so far -5st 1lb

Sorry you're still feeling rotten Lantanna - but glad you've got a bit less pain today.

Hugs Beanie - look after yourself.

WI this morning wasn't quite as bad as I expected - just a small gain of 0.5lb - was definitely expecting more, still below target by 1.5lb so halfway to bottom end. Expecting it to go up again but hopefully not by much after this weekend as we'll be celebrating DH's birthday Saturday with a trip to France so no doubt there will be a few syns with lunch and probably a few more once we get home as DH will only have a very small glass of wine with lunch as he's driving.

Plan today not particularly good but using stuff up out of the freezer and fridge; sort of EE!

    B - grapes - after WI
L - LO lamb dhansak, 1 slice bread 3(didn't have any LO rice left!)
D - butchers burger (0.5 syns); WM burger bun (HEB); onions; salad; FF dressing

HEA will be milk in tea throughout the day
Syns: 3.5 as above. Not sure what else if any

I've got strawberries, grapes & pineapple to snack on if I want something sweet or cooked chicken pieces if I fancy something more savoury.

Getting a bit of body magic this afternoon - going to the golf range with DH. Haven't actually swung a golf club for nearly 5 years as we stopped playing when DH had an operation of his shoulder back in 2010 and it's taken all this time for it to get back to its former strength.

Before Maman says anything I know I haven't got 1/3 Speed food today but it's the best I can do at the moment:rotfl:.

*hugs* Beanie, take care of you

weigh in day and it's 1lb on for me please Shala, not un-expected and certainly deserved after the long weekend away.

I had a mini croissant at a work event this morning - when we have Thursday/morning events I can't eat breakfast beforehand as I have to get me and wonder bairn up, ready and out by 07.20am so I can get to work on time but I resisted all but one mini croissant :)

lunch; grabbed a salad box from morrisons; sweetcorn, cucumber, grated carrot, pepper slices, 2 hard boiled eggs, some plain boiled pasta, cherry tomatoes and a little cheese (toward hea for the day - not having anything else though!)

tea; spag bol - about 4/5syns max on the sauce, no garlic bread today as we don't have any in!

heb: can't fit it in anywhere and don't think I'll really fancy it later!

bf goes Tuesday so I can see the next few days containing an off plan meal at some point so I am going to try and behave the rest of the week and hopefully see this 1lb gain plus a tiny bit more off next week!

:T good loss crabapple and great maintenance tweets!

Lush and denise, I think you did really well to have such small gains after a weekend away. You'll soon sort that.

I've been to the shops browsing for holiday stuff. Not going for about 6 weeks but good to look. I'm still finding myself looking at bigger sizes than I need. I can't believe I'm a 10/12. Still enjoying it after 4 years!:D
