Morning all, just a quick post for me as a busy day ahead. :hello: wiggly welcome to the thread!
I made tapas for tea last night - spanish omelette, patatas bravas, halloumi kebabs and rice and salad - it was lovely, and all free (except the halloumi which was my hexa). Trying to pull it back as much as possible from the carnage at the weekend but I am dreading group tomorrow!
b: fruit and yogurt
l: hm split pea soup, hexb bread
d: quorn burger (2 syns) roll (5 syns) cheese (hexa) fried onion ketchup and mustard (2 syns), sw chips and salad
snacks will be fruit and yogurt, and I have a 6 syn chocolate mousse in the fridge for later
Have a lovely day everyone! xxx0 -
Just been to tesco to stock up on a few bits and whilst looking for frozen cherries and drooling over the new magnums (didn't buy any - check out my halo!) I saw some own brand cocktail lollies. They have 6 in a box, 3 piña colada and 3 mojito and they contain real alcohol.
55kcal for piña colada and 68 kcal for mojito.
Guess what I'm having for my syns tonight?!
I'll report back on them this evening.0 -
Good morning all.
It's a 1lb loss for me this week, please Shala. I had hoped to get my 2.5 stone shiny by the end of March, but I think that's looking unlikely!!
Well done losers and everyone else, and thanks for starting the new thread Shala.New Year New You Challenge - 13.5lbs/10lbs

Belated birthday wishes tie, and congratulations on reaching the big 3_0!! Amazing what SW can do for you!:rotfl:
I am a March birthday mildredd but mine was a couple of weeks ago. Thanks for the kind thought anyway.:) It's lush's wonderbairn's birthday some time this week too.psychopathbabble wrote: »Is it just me or is it easier to stay on plan when OH is away? I even had a green day last week!
I think that's true for many people. It's not just partners but feeding children too. Those who have children always seem to have synful things in the house. My DH is happy to eat SW meals but I happened to ask him (while looking at recipes in the newspaper at the weekend) how he'd feel about some vegetarian meals and he wasn't keen.Plus One for me last night
What can you do but keep going, no idea why as I have been good - maybe too much carbs and water retention as ankles swollen and beyond bloated !
I think it may be the change of WI day. I almost always feel fat on Mondays after syns at weekend (even though I'm not over for the week) but it settles down before Thursday WI. I'm sure you'll adjust but luckily it won't be long before you're back where you want to be. Good luck with phone!Good morning, have to pass on message from Beanie, she is now not able to post on MSE at all, anyone else having a problem, any suggestions to pass on to her?
I had a few problems yesterday. I could get to the forum but when I clicked on the thread it came up with 'page unavailable'. Something's going on. Is there a way we can report it I wonder.
I'm all set for two, perfect days on plan before Thursday WI.
EE today:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB porage, HEA milk
L: definitely beetroot and beef and maybe some potatoesSW chips, SW burger, tomatoes, mushrooms, fried onions, peas
Syns: squirt of syrup, squirt of HP sauce0 -

Another March birthday here (but only just - if I'd been born 25 mins later I'd have been an April Fool, LOL!)
My DH is happy to eat SW meals, although he does moan occasionally about not having pies now (although I do make him the odd apple pie from time to time - mainly because I can take 'em or leave 'em!).
He's also not keen on veggie meals but will eat them, as long as I don't expect him to eat them too often! Although having said that he absolutely hated the SW sweet potato curry but I think that was mainly because the sweet potato was very hard and didn't seem to be cooked properly - so definitely not one I'll bother keeping in the freezer.
DH likes things like crisps which I'm not bothered about at all, might occasionally pinch one of his but certainly don't eat a whole packet. He also likes the Tesco fruit splits, which I eat from time to time as well as they're not too bad at 3 syns each.
Have to agree there's been a few problems with MSE over the last couple of days - I keep just getting a list of the forum threads but not being able to get on. I just tend to close down and restart, it usually seems to sort it out.

My mini pretty much eats sw tbh the odd meal she won't touch she gets her treat tea of spaghetti shapes on toast... She actually said loudly at a party a few weeks ago that she didn't like the sandwich as it was on white bread and its urgh can she have brown *i cringed and applauded myself in equal parts*
She does have extra treats but I'm a bit mean as I only buy her stuff that I can have within syns ir quavers, fudge bars, mini haribo bags, Freddos etc
Oh I am consumed with this Easter bonnetI bought an actual glue gun with the intention of just making this bonnet
I definitely have a compulsive personality
Maman i must have missed it - so happy birthday!!!
Yeah I think it's wonderbairns soon and then its minis on Easter Monday although we are partying next week due to bank holidays and soft play centre ramming up the price for the same package :@

Shala I have a phone phobia too
I hate talking on the actual phone!!
It got worse, i just had to ring someone in America as well ... she was dead chatty but i was just "yes" "no" "ok, bye" :rotfl: i feel such a fool, but words just go out of my head!!!! ohh this week is possibly the worst for stepping out of my comfort zone, i'll be glad when it's over..
Hope your legal stuff is done and dusted soon, have they given you a time frame?
Meg - hope Beanie can find someone to sort it, i'm afraid i don't have any ideas, i'm rubbish with technical stuff.. i usually just switch everything off for an hour or so and reboot it all.Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0
