    Morning folks

Lovely bright and frosty morning here today. Had a lovely meal with DH and bff last night (Hairy Bikers Steak, loads of veggies and a small amount of veggie rice). That bit was very much on plan. Things went a bit awry with the Carte D'Or Light, apricots in drambuie (sp) and chocshot ..... oh and then there were a few G & Ts albeit with slimline tonic and took a cuppa to bed with some rum and raisin choccie.

Back on plan for today and trying to get caught up with chores before we go away in the morning. Thought I had the laundry up to date, until DS got in from work last night (he's been at gfs most of this week on holiday) and he brought me a tonne of washing back (really thoughtful eh) so I have got that in now.

Oh I really forgot result from wi last night was an amazing -0.5lb loss shala. Considering I put that amount on last week I wasn't too chuffed but I have thought that the couple of days we are away this week might just give something a bit of a kicking .... watch this space.

    Have a good day everyone.

    Morning All,

Finally caught up on reading! I'm in work til mid-afternoon today so if you could keep the chatter down until I'm home and can keep up it would be appreciated :rotfl:

Welcome MrsO and wiggly. I'd agree on changing your group MrsO, unless you just want to stay with us here ;) Good luck to both of you. Definitely try to focus on small targets not the big picture. SW knows this helps which is why the half stone shinies :D

Speaking of which, I'm 1lb off a shiny, but I have a horrible feeling I won't get it tonight. We'll see I guess. Will be back later to report what the scales say.

If I was really good I think I can get to target in only a few weeks so I'm going to get a 6 week countdown and hope I can do it in that time, if not I should only have a couple of weeks to pay for.

 mint or orange.. loved these when i was a kid :D

    Love the dress.. :T

had a text last night off my consultant asking where i'd been last week :o she must have been doing her catch ups.. didn't reply but i know i have to go and face the music on Thursday.

I'm doing ok this week even though stuff at work is throwing me completely out of my comfort zone.. conference calls (i have a phone phobia:eek:) and meetings (i have people phobia:rotfl:) usually i'd reward myself for coping well with pizza and chips but i've stuck to plan.. I better lose a bit this week!

Crabapple, best of luck for you shiney :j

Definitely mint - can't stand chocolate and orange together, yuk!

Bought them in B&Ms - 14 for 89p - have to say they're much smaller than I remember from the 70s when I used to buy them for the kids!

  • Wow I forgot how fast this thread moves :) I won't be able to keep up so good luck to those still to WI this week, well done to you losers and hugs to everyone else.

I've been well on plan since restarting last week, except saturday night which still wasn't too bad for a hen do! I'm also focussing on trying to exercise regularly. Looking forward to WI tomorrow to see if it's all worth it!

Is it just me or is it easier to stay on plan when OH is away? I even had a green day last week!

Plus One for me last night

What can you do but keep going, no idea why as I have been good - maybe too much carbs and water retention as ankles swollen and beyond bloated !

Anyway keep going, I will get there. Happy Birthday TIE!!

Gym done last night so at least that something

Just catching up, BEG have you tried the Carte Dor Rum nd Raisin Ice Cream??? It is amazing, my mother gave it to me once.

In other news head is melted after being cut off from the world for the last two nights despite having 2 different phones, visit to 02 shop and time spent in work on the phone to them!!!! and a trip to Tesco this am to spend £25 on replacing a faulty charger:mad: The child in the O2 shop is going to be strangled with the faulty charger tonight!!! Do not mess with a woman on a diet and with a niggling Gallbladder :rotfl:

Need to get some clothes for spring and spend minimal amounts though we have snow today :rotfl: But hoping looking at and trying on clothes will help me a little.
