ZZPS Ltd and Wright Hassall LLP

@serapis
Hopefully, to allay you fears even more understanding the history of ZZPS will help, I believe.
ZZPS Ltd, a recently formed company are based in the same offices that another debt collection agency called Roxburghe UK Ltd were until the company went into administration last year. Roxburghe went into administration soon after their application for (what was effectively) a renewal of their debt collection licence was refused by OFT after a very nearly 3 year investigation (it was started in May 2011). The fact that Roxburghe were based at Roxburghe House and ZZPS are based at Manor House seemingly two separate addresses both in Lavender Park Road, West Byfleet is misleading. Manor House IS Roxburghe House.
The one an only director of ZZPS is the former MD of Roxburghe.
Prior to its demise Roxburghe had "employed" the services of one Graham White & Co, solicitors (in reality a one man band). The services were the use of their letterheads and the solicitor's name. If you called Graham White's number you spoke to Roxburghe staff and Roxburghe drafted and sent out what purported to be solicitors letters.
Graham White became the subject of a SRA investigation and at some subsequent point they ceased being used by Roxburghe. In stepped another solicitors outfit - GBP Solicitors and despite the fact that they allegedly "based" two members of staff at Roxburghe's offices exactly the same type of letters that once bore the Graham White's letterhead and were produced by Roxburghe suddenly appeared bearing the letterhead of GBP. Then GBP were closed down by the SRA following an apparently unrelated investigation into misconduct by a number of their staff.
Not that long afterwards the Roxburghe gravy-train came to a juddering halt.
In other words we have seen this performance on many occasions over the last 7 years to my certain knowledge. My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).

Can the Wright has sell letter be posted up on here0

Hi,
I am new to MSE but regularly use the site as an outsider.
I have also received PCNs from Elite Management at a property I used to reside in until late October.
This week I received a letter from Wright Hassall, and I rang. I wish I hadn't because generally I stick to my guns with these threats of CCJs so I have no idea why I rang. After reading this forum I definitely wish I hadn't. I gave my number, my partner gave his name as one of the drivers and now I dread what's to come from Monday.
I didn't have a permit I work away and explained to the new management company I was unable to collect my permit due to working away throughout the week, they refused to leave it in my letter box (obviously it was made from gold) I did not even have a signed agreement with this management company but with the previous landlord.
The PCN was sent to my car lease company who forwarded it to me telling me not to respond to the enclosed PCN addressed to them but to wait for the PCN to be readdressed to me, where I could start the process afresh. I heard nothing from Elite Management at all, even though I had a number of parking tickets so the post can not be to blame as surely one would have made the journey if they were sent.
The first I heard of ZZPS was from the obnoxious woman on the phone, I explained this but she told me to pay or go to court and get a CCJ.
Now I'm left feeling annoyed at myself for adding fuel to the Fire.0 -

If this Solicitors firm are so desperate for work they have to grub in the dirt for it with a PPC they deserve what they get.
Complain to the SRA that the solicitor has sent you what appears to be an invoice for a contract that does not exist.
But primarily they have sought to charge you for the legal services they are supplying to this client to the sum of £18.
Demand the SRA make the Solicitors produce any contract or instruction which would merit them to charge you for work or "admin fees"
Put it again as they like to skip read the complaint bit.
I have NO CONTRACT with theses solicitors so therefore they should not be sending me invoices for "admin" work.
Demand they get an apology from the Solicitor for trying to charge you for work they are doing for "Some other people somewhere in England "
Or produce a contract and whilst they are on with it, explain to the SRA what it is they claim to be writing to me about and where is that contract, or is that two contracts they invented ? .
Add that the actions of this solicitor in demanding money by menace and threat has caused you alarm and distress.
Await them to send the standard "fob off Reply which allows them to close the complaint in 14 days and then contact them again saying the complaint is not satisfied in any way shape or form and remains open as a complaint.
Then they have to look at it.
As for Wright Hassle, stop trying to charge random people for work you do for other people if you do not want reporting.
Should I send a copy of the letter issued to me? Intend to complain as advised0 -
Try this method of dealing with them too. Start at post 23/24/25

Hang on. You've offered to pay the £75 and they'e refused. In other words they have not acted to mitigate loss. If it should come to court you can tell that to the judge.0

Update.
After ignoring the letters for some time I receive this a few days ago.
They appear to say that if the court sides with them, they will get a CCJ against me.
Should I be worried?0 -
Yes, if you lose in court they will win a CCJ (county Court Judgement) against you.
This only becomes a worry if you fail to pay it off completely within 30 days. (When it will go on the register of CCJs for 6 years)0
