  • Back from our official duties, it was very warm, I was glad of the water, we had a very nice tea and I have brought some sarnies home for supper, they had done some new thngs which went down very well, one was fruit spears, with melon, strawberries, pineapple and grapes, very refreshing.......

I was glad to get back and get my clothes and shoes off, felt a bit like a trussed chicken, I am not a dressing up person at all............

A nice cuppa is waiting my attention...........so I am off for now.......
September grocery budget........trying for £80, not sure if I will make it though!!!!! I certainly did not last month, lost track of the final bill. Will do better this month honest.

    Good evening everyone,

CM - so sorry to hear about your DS and DIL, hugs to you all xxx

Well, ive actually done something different today - went and picked up some bargains at Tesco and Asda - in Tesco bought DS a freeview box for his birthday (next month) for £19.97, loads of raspberries for 40p a punnet, and i picked up a little thing of Sushi to try, as it was reduced from 99p to 20p, and as i have never tried it before, thought i wouldnt mind wasting 20p. Well, i now love Sushi, was delishious (sp).
After Tesco, we went to Asda, i bought some haddok fillets for 15p, cream (huge tub) for 5p and some other bits and pieces at low prices too!!! Picked up an indoor arial for £4.97, for my kitchen tv, and it works so much better than the one i had before, so DS is now pleased, as ive let him have the old one for his tv.

When we got home - i made raspberry jam and some butter - both taste lovely so feeling very OS and viruous now!!!

Im now off for a shower - and then a sit down with a glass of wine while i enter some comps, havnt done any yet today so need to catch up!!!

Hope everyone has a lovely evening,
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

DH "sorted out" our fridge door and managed to break the "vacuum seal"

So guess who has to go and get the cheapest larder fridge tomorrow!

The family were not amused today when they suggested "24 hour" places to go to get a new fridge and I said "Not on a Sunday".

DH does not want us to spend money on anything until we move - but double oven is temperamental- fridge has had it and electrical sockets are a bit off at times!

Just watched the "Batman " film on tv and we all enjoyd it.

Just to say a big *Thank you* for all your supporticon7.gif

DS1 and DDil (who live in Canada, DDil is Canadian:D ) are coming to terms today, and are trying to stay positive. (At least she is conceiving) They have a Doctor's appointment next week, and are hoping for a strategy to help maintain a pregnancy to full term.

Have tried to catch up with the threads I've missed because I was away. Kyle, I can't believe LO's bad luck!!! What a shame, the poor little love! I do hope he feels better soon, and that the breaks heal well. You must be at your wit's end. Look after yourself as well.

I hope to post tomorrow, but we're having the boiler replaced. Oh joy!! Lots of mess, strange men hanging about the house, and endless tea-making!!! Bet you're all jealous:rotfl:

Best get off, I've spent too long on here already:o

    CMxx
