DD2 has returned and is resting. One of her seniors has suggested that she should see the GP now so she can have her tonsils out in the summer holidays so it doesn't cause any staffing problems!!!!!

    There aren't words!

I do agree she should see the GP, though, and discuss having them removed.

Long time lurker here......CY, how often does she have tonsillitis? I suffer from it and normally have it around 4 times a year. When I asked dr, he said you have to have it at least 6/8 times a year before they will consider taking them out :(

    Paid stuff done
Kitten has been paddling upto his arm pits, he is mad

DH did not find the chair incident in anyway funny, I think it was very sore, he screamed and shouted at all of us, he does not have a very good SOH and it is my second garden chair he has wrecked by standing on them.

Off to the shops now to mainly return stuff and buy cheap petrol.

    Parents evening tonight for DS3.

Little message for pigpen as I'm still at work. I've been listening to a conference on gender dysphoria - some heartbreaking and yet uplifting accounts - and wondered if you'd come across https://www.mermaidsuk.org.uk. I'm sure you've already found them but if not it might be worth a look. One of the ladies is a mum in your position and the other spoke of her own transgender history.

Gilly, pm sent re type 2. I won't post up what I did, as the site may consider it medical advise. Apart from the weight loss, I also beat type 2, no meds, no nothing currently, I am monitored once a year by type 2 nurse at GP's, currently it is still gone, due for annual check up in about 3 weeks time or so, so if relevant I will report back, I REFUSE currently point blank to take any meds or injections etc.......

Dusty I had to laugh as well, I am sorry for the chair, do you have a step ladder your OH can use? or one of those kick step things?

  • Morning All!!

Sorry had such a busy day I didn't have time to post.

I had to smile too about DH and the chair, Dusty - but I would have been in the same boat as you, as my DH is the same re those sorts of things. Well done on the fantastic decluttering, Mrs M-P.

Have been to do vol job at SW, but first prepped a sc pork casserole for evening meal, then hair appt and more in the museum book rooms before Dementia Friends training and H and S refresher also at themuseum. Rather difficult as the DF training brought back many sad memories. Then had a quick look around the market for my next knitting project - the wool is so reasonable there!
Home now and catching up whilst DH does the potatoes and veg for our meal.x

Tomorrow I have a full day at home so need to catch up, wash bedding and garden and pack before our weekend away.

May not find time to post so hope you all have a great rest of week and cu on the new thread. x

ugh, can barely summon the energy to eat my tea. I've got a supervision phone call for an hour in a bit and should really send some emails tonight too to clients :( No flying tonight. Although I have had to wash the sitting room curtain as dd2 managed to pee on it. Potty training going well then.....
