Narco yes.. I use them a lot. I get a lot of jars and tins and my last order had about a years worth of sanitary products for 3 of us
I add up weights with loo rolls and this time I was well under so bought 2x 5L bottles of fairy liquid for my stepdad.. he is a window cleaner so goes through stacks of the stuff. Their stuff is all perfectly fine, I've never ad an issue with it though do check what you ordered against what you get they are prone to leaving things out!!
Thanks. Too old for some of that
but I've just made a mini-list of tea bags, rice cakes and some maize and teff flour (never used teff but just found some recipes with it) and those alone covers the delivery charge. Will get Mr N in front of the computer tomorrow and see what we can come up with. I seem to recall your A1d1 wasn't good locally; ours is brilliant so we get a lot of their stuff which is way cheaper than Mr T or Sainsbob. Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
Morning all. Thank goodness for this thread and all you lovely people on it. I have to say I hadn't started today in the best of moods, LittleyDog had an accident overnight which was my first job of the day, and when I came downstairs, found that I'd forgotten to put the dog's specially prepared food in the fridge, so that's gone in the bin. BUT THEN I came on here while munching my buttered toasted muffin and what a giggle.
So to flying. The window cleaner came yesterday so I'm intending to do the insides of the windows before the paid stuff today. It counts as I saw it on the list yesterday!
I've got shredding to do to, but that can be done in paid stuff time as most of it is paid stuff stuff.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Morning, woke up ridiculously early today, already have a load of washing in, and had first peaceful cup of coffee, perfect start to the day!
Going to start on today's list in a bit (the quiet chores) them hopefully won't be long before rest of the clan is awake. My living room and stairs and landing are reasonably tidy, so shouldn't take too long. However, back porch needs some attention, and going to tackle play room as well today.
Then still planning on doing some decorating, got none done yesterday, then going to use the tester pot I got yesterday from B&Q on picket fence. White wood stain, so if its ok, hopefully get the best of both worlds!
Not sure what todays weather forecast is, but would be nice to spend a bit of time in the front garden today, weather permitting.
Hope everyone has a lovely day, catch up with you all this evening.Loving life to the full, just need purse full too

Morning allMrs-mp, 19 bags of recycling - really?!?!?!?
x
Tis true:o, because it was magazines etc they weighed heavy so could only put about 12 in each bag they refuse to take the bags it they weigh too heavy, so 19 paper recycling bags went out, 4 full files went back to be stored at his work as they weren't too old and a black bag full of old empty files went back to work.
Two never worn coats are going to be offered to my brother, and theres a pile of clothes in there we decluttered from DH side of the wardrobe so they all need bagging (think I'll fill two CS bags) it feels so good to finally be getting space back.

I've just sorted the insurance, wrote a birthday/engagement cheque out for my godDD, and found some things I made to donate to a tombola, so going to postbox, dropping off tombola stuff and going to take a letter round another road postie left here by accident.SPC~12 ot 124

I can actually hear nothing. For once I am alone... until DD2 arrives back in 5 mins.... Bliss.
Survived 2 days at mums. Food was grim, complete absence of fresh veg etc.
Got back yesterday, checked on DD2 (tonsillitis) and rang the hospital to cancel today's appt. Then did 2 hours in the CS. By teatime I was so tired I didn't know what day of the week it was.
Spoke briefly to mum to confirm I had arrived back safely. Left facebook message for sister asking whether she/mum had spoken/seen GP as suggested by out of hours doc on Sat. No reply, though she has seen the message.
Realised last night that the 2 words missing from this event are thank you. After my sister popped in to see mum on Sunday she ended up down at the pub. Then she posted all about her mothers day experiences/presents. Felt mildly put out that I was 200 miles from my kids trying to assess by facebook messager whether DD2 had just tonsillitis or quinsy. But neither seemed to think it was appropriate to thank me for dropping all my commitments. And in the end I travelled for 6 hours on Saturday so my sister could go to work. I didn't go to work yesterday because I couldn't get back in time...
Rant over!
Second washload just finishing so will stick another one on and get back to the ironing. DD2 just back from breakfast club - she now needs a packed lunch as she has to start pre-school early today. she's going to get her head down for a bit....
I have an extra shift at the CS today and SW tonight, so I might not make it back on here until tomorrow. Hope you all have a great day.:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
Rant away CY, hugs to you and I hope that the tonsillitis eases its a horrible thing that DH suffered with when he gets stressed.
The scum bags were out in force on our estate last night, the bread shop had the door window smashed the shop roughed up and the empty open till stolen! The chippy suffered the same fate. And apparently 4 houses had windows randomly smashed.SPC~12 ot 124
