Anyone know if Zog are applying a surcharge for their IGT customers?
I have emailed them but got no reply.0 -
I phoned Npower today and they stated that they no longer charge extra for IGT.0

Whos bright idea was it to allow IGTs? Ah yes,, OFGEM.Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0

Well their website is somewhat contradictory on this:If you are served by an independent gas transporter's (IGT) network (i.e. not National Grid Gas) the first 4572 units of gas used per annum will be charged at a slightly increased price. This is because it costs us more to supply gas to your home as, not only do we need to pay National Grid Gas for the use of some of their network, but we also have to pay the IGT.
But then again:
Why are you removing the Independent Gas Transport (IGT) Premium?
We are removing our IGT premium to keep our tariffs simple and easy to understand.
For me £10 here or there is not a deal maker/breaker0 -
Wont energy resellers just simply hide the IGT charge in their costs anyway? It isnt disappearing as they have to pay it to the IGT and they also have to pay a shipping charge to the DNO for bringing the gas to the DNO exit point..a double whammy..Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). I believe the question relates to which suppliers apply a premium or surcharge to their normal tariffs just for those customers that are supplied by an IGT.0
