They are nice bonus's. I'm waiting on a £40 payment from pet insurance, and have just spotted a huge £70 for houre insurance with the same company we're with now. So a quick policy name change from my name to Mrs SJ's name and its another good bonus to the pot.

Lippy - you continue to keep well ahead of me on that mortgage front. Your making the race very difficult to keep up with...!

Don't worry SJ. Planning on a new car and a few big holidays next year so that will stop me in my tracks.

Remember I still have £3,500 worth of cc debt which needs to be paid off in the next couple of months..... Going to hate taking that out of my EF :(
    Total Mortgage OP £61,000
    Outstanding Mortgage £27,971
    Emergency Fund £62,100
I AM NOW MORTGAGE NEUTRAL!!!! <<Sep-20>>

Long day today, or felt like it anyway! Not too much going on either. I've got £15 of Halifax rewards to OP which I'll do tonight when I get home from work. We both had some hospital car parking today which totalled £8 which sickens me!!

Other than that I'm just waiting on cooperative bank stuff so I can begin the switch and get rid of Santander. Decision made on CC too and once Christmas is done with its csshback rewards then I'm ditching the CC altogether.

Oh one big thing on horizon is a car change. Ours won't be big enough for 3 kids. We were hoping to get through till Mrs SJ returns to work in Sept but its started playing up, so new car will be a new year present/expense! I hate cars!!

  • Halifax money paid this morning and we're at a healthy £83 OP already this money. Doing an early forecast for November i think we'll be about £538 OP which is fantastic but my turmoil starts again...It'll leave me £12 short of colouring in the 127k's brick. Now i may have some TT's to throw at it but may fall short of the £12 amount!

So new torment to consider.,. At the end of each month shall i round down to the nearest £10 the mortgage balance, or will i get more turmoil if i finish £11 short etc...? I appreciate i seem to have this mental torture each month and you never know one day my balance may start to get to move towards the middle of a 1k bracket and save me of this minor OCD!

  • Lovely morning dog walk after school run. Got a sweat on it was that warm! Over dressed for November?!?

Unfortunately today wont be a NSD as i'm taking DS2 swimming after nursery. Need to push on with getting him swimming with no armbands now. DS1 was all sorted by 3 3/4, so that gives me 6months...!!

Got a badge but that's the only one. I've tried posting for others but to no avail so I gave up!!
