Just spotted something that's crept up on me (and very unlike me, which shows how busy work and decorating must have been). Namely all my high interest current accounts are about full up. Nationwide is full, TSB x 2 have about £30 each to go so will be full by the end of this month. I've given up on Santander as an option because of their lack of responsibility and morals...!!

My problem is that i haven't got a next plan...!

So do i look at Tesco, Lloyds or go for a reg saver and drip feed money out of TSB into those...?

Some musing on this is definitely needed.

My next problem is i'm out of the country for a few weeks from Monday so it'll have to be a task or November.

Thanks mib, I'll definitely check it out.

Made great strides on painting tonight. All walls and ceiling done (a big of touching up tomorrow) so I can crack on and gloss tomorrow afternoon. Then carpet clean on Saturday and furniture building!

I'd drip feed a (couple of) regular savers if I was in your position re timing. TSB at 5% is an easy option to do straight away as you already have main accounts set up. You can set up regular saver online I think. If not m and s and HSBC are offering 6% still. M and s doesn't require account to be funded a set amount and no dd's required. I have one and they aren't the fastest getting it set up TBH.

OCC - Thats what i'm thinking to be honest. Drip feeding reg savers seems like the most sensible option, and it keeps the 5% interest going, all be it i'll get the interest in a year rather than monthly. Though mentally that is a difficult one for me as i like the monthly bits of interest that i can OP as its great motivation.
