Well I've been poleaxed with a heavy cold since Wednesday evening which has resulted in being up at 3.00am and no more sleep, followed by a 11hr work day, and then a 4am up and a 10hr work day! Then yesterday I worked from home for the morning before heading in for another 7hrs! Then this morning back up at 6am for work again (bank holidays are terrible for my job by the way).
So I'm wandering round now in a haze of codeine and lack of sleep! The cold has given me terrible blocked sinuses and kicked off my asthma during the night, so I have to get up to try and settle my chest and that usually takes an hour at least. Hence being wide awake and not going back to sleepyland.
Moneywise I think we're in good shape ahead of accounts posting day tomorrow but I must be honest I can't concentrate on the accounts. I am determined that all will be done tomorrow though. And as for tonight I'm desperate for a full night sleep. The trouble is is tough to keep my eyes open now but I'm determined to stay u till 11pm and using the boxing at 10.30pm as the goal/target!!!

Urghhh - autumn has truly set in, darker mornings, and darker earlier in the evening, and now heavy colds, with a change in temperature.
I say take the rest and sleep when you need it, I've hung on till bedtime before and
ended up not tired at all, wishing I had slept when I felt like it.
You do work long hours and long days, just keep your focus on that mortgage, and when its
gone, you will either be like me reducing your hours (I've just reduced mine to 19 hrs/week)
or take early retirement altogether, nice thought. Sweet dreams zzzzzzz :rotfl:Always have 00.00 at the end of your mortgage and one day it will all be 0's :dance:MF[STRIKE] March 2030[/STRIKE] Yes that does say 2030  Mortgage Free 21.12.18 _party_Now a Part Timer from 27.10.190 -

Well I lasted to the end of the boxing (and stayed away from beer). Went to bed quite pleased with myself... asleep quickly and sleeping the sleep of the righteous when DS2 decides, at 1.30am, to projectile vomit all over his room:doh: Now I appreciate that it wasn't really his fault, but seriously...why last night :rotfl:

Well done on those figures - have you considered recording your savings running totals too as you are saving at the same time?Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)

I have considered it but just debating how best to report it. We effectively have 4 things going on savings wise. Mrs SJ DB pension (always difficult to get a figure on this), my DC pension, then 2 S&S Isa's; one for grown up long term savings (possible bridging pot to pensions so we can reduce hours, or stuff for house) that we intend not to touch for minimum of 10yrs, possible 14 yrs or potentially 16yrs, and the other is for kiddies long term 'savings' earmarked for university type times. The money we save for holidays, christmas, school uniforms, cars and the like I don't actually class as 'savings' they are 'pre-payment plans' :money:
So back to initial question and I'm just not sure how to report it and mainly this is because of Mrs SJ DB pension and it being tricky to report a balance as her forecast only updates every 12 months. I suppose I could report with totals put towards each month. My other issue is I don't have an appropriate spreadsheet for it all yet
** £832 has gone towards pensions this month, £360 to grown up S&S ISA and £140 to kids S&S ISA.
