Quick check in before the pack and tidy up starts. I can't believe its Sunday and time to come home already.
I made a £1 TT this morning and then OP'd the weekly pot of £4.98. So we're off and running with OP's for June and Mays accounts memory has already started to fade away!

Just saw your stats for May, I love how detailed your reporting is! Looking at all those numbers gives you so many more goal opportunities (e.g. aim for an OP amount, a new balance, upping the average to 600, getting that LTV down by a percent, etc). Great effort!0

Well bang with a bump and an 11hour day in work yesterday! This morning i have the joy of tackling Northern Rails new emergency timetable, and my intended train was typically one of the ones that was cancelled! So it's 30mins earlier for me and right in the thick of the rush hour commuting. No seats (which doesn't bother me), but i feel sorry for the peoples cramped next top me with my incessant sneezing and nose blowing! Hayfever is in full swing at the minute (I've taken a tablet every day since April 1st and 2 a day for the last week, trust me they do not work)!

The emergency timetables sounded utterly hellish, what a fiasco! And on a really crowded commuter train, allergies must feel awful. I'm glad you've had your great holiday, Jimmy!2023: the year I get to buy a car0

What kind of tablet do you take? I use a nasal spray and eye drops and it works well. If I accidentally eat something that I know upsets me, or get mosquito bites, I take a citirizine tablet to reduce the swelling (and itchiness). I guess because I'm not taking tablets all the time is why they workSave £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)
OS Grocery Challenge in 2025 I am at £1286.68/£3000 or 42.89% of my annual spend so far

Train was actually fine! Not overcrowded at all and had several seats to choose from both ways!
Suffolk - i think i've tried everything over the years and am probably at the stage that the tablets no longer work on those days with a very high pollen count. At the minute i take a cetirizine and a loratadine (one in morning and one at night). I then use a nasal spray which does reduce things slightly and gives relief for about 30-40mins. The only thing that has ever worked was the injection but the GP won't give it me anymore. I only ever had that during GCSE's, A Level and uni exams. Small mercies is that its usually only the month of June that affects me badly, so only 23 days to go!
Moneywise very little is happening. All the major outgoings have gone and we just have 1 food shop and petrol left to pay for until payday in 2 weeks. Made a £1 TT this morning to keep things ticking along.MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0 -
A feel for you, both my boys suffer but ds1 is particularly bad and often looks like he's been in a fight! I wasn't aware you could take both types of tablets, perhaps I should try him with both together then?MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0
