Not much good at present suggestions either.
Although one popped into my head, a family portrait/photographic session now you have new baby SJ, although you will be looking for another present  just 10 days later :rotfl: won't youand the photos might be more suitable for that occasion
Best of Luck

Something for her shoes! My most successful presents were a bobble off and a digital radio. Both used to this day.
How about a spa day on her own, a bit of peace and quiet0 -
Given 3 kids, one a baby....what about some sort of pampering set (I love Molton brown myself) and the promise of a couple of hours to herself perhaps a new dressing gown or lounge wear.
Just thinking to what I would have appreciated most when my dd was 4 weeks old.
Good luck0 -
All great ideas gang and I'll add them to the list of 1 thing I had, to decide! Received a statement for DS1 saving account today which reminded me I havent sorted baby SJ account out yet, so I'll add that to my 'in head' job list. Money wise it's a bit quiet now, got a few money shuffles to do and standing orders to adjust but that's it.
Tomorrow will be a nice OP of the TT pot so thanks again to debt free for encouraging the weekly OP. As we approach month end it looks like our OP total may hit £750 (council tax money thrown in) which is alarming in a very good way!
Oh we sold another item last night which will yield a £6.20 profit, so the PayPal pot is starting to climb again. Mrs SJ also reckons she has at least a bin bag of stuff to sell and is determined to sort her wardrobe out this week (kids back to school), and there's a few items that DS2 has grown out of. So the declutter should gather apace.MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0 -

All seems far too efficient!!!!!.

I consider myself forewarned GG!
Well Sunday morning arrives so after TTing £1 I then OP'd the pot, £6.97 winged its way to mortgage. In real terms the OP is 1 days interest for the month with a few pence to roll over.
Another item sold last night making us a modest £3.10!MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0 -
I've stopped my weekly OP's due to a lack of funds and throwing everything at the debt, but I think I will try again to send a bit as the mortgage is the only thing we are paying interest on..
It'll be slim pickings compared to you, but Sunday will be OP day again.. I'm aiming for £1 this week! :-)DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

What don't you aim for 1 days worth of interest spread across the 4 Sunday's, so £1.10 ish per Week?MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0

Re. birthday present, what are your wife's interests? My wife and I always try to buy each other things we have an actual interest in (or use for) rather than something generic. On occasion we buy joint presents as we're both into classic cars. One year we renewed a lot of old tools as a joint Christmas / birthday / wedding anniversary present (cost a lot of money) but I can appreciate not many wives would want to do this!
Last few things I've bought my wife are various pieces of emerald jewellery (££££), a saxophone (££££), a set of lambswool rugs for our Jaguar (££), a Dubarry jacket (£££) and some painting supplies (££). I wouldn't buy her anything generic or any type of spa day (she isn't interested), toiletries (buys her own), makeup (buys her own and I've no desire to get involved). Actually been told on here I'm quite good at gifts for Mrs K and she always seems to appreciate them, so must be doing something right. As this is MSE, obviously budget is needed, but tailor to her interests and have a bit of imagination.2018 totals:
