I got friends that are in the "daddy gave me a farmhouse" category, and they still moan about having to pay general household bills:rolleyes20 -

The chances of me having anything to do with a 20-something women now are slim.
Far more likely the 20 something womans' divorced mum:rotfl:.0 -

Isn't that better? Particularly if she [strike]fleeced [/strike] .. cough.. managed to get [strike]the entire house [/strike] some of the equity of the property both her and her ex jointly made a home and brought up children in. Least she won't want to marry you for your money she will just want to spend if for you.
I'm not cynical I'm realistic

I'm rapidly approaching 40, which means my requirements aren't what they were when I wasn't rapidly approaching 40:)
I'm less concerned about all the other malarky, someone who's good company and able of holding a decent stimulating conversation is now far higher up the list than "Other" assets:)0 -

I might have to get myself togged up with a suit from those guys Alan suggested & start attending Adam Smith Institute doos. After all it's acceptable to be a tree-hugger in today's Tory party innit?"Mrs. Pench, you've won the car contest, would you like a triumph spitfire or 3000 in cash?" He smiled.
Mrs. Pench took the money. "What will you do with it all? Not that it's any of my business," he giggled.
"I think I'll become an alcoholic," said Betty.0 -

Don't they say though that the ideal aged woman for any man is to divide his age by 2 and add 8? That means at 40 your ideal aged woman is 28 - so still a 20-something!0 -
nah, 30 something is a better idea, I don't want to be going to nightclubs and such. I never quite saw the attraction of someone much younger, just a right bloody nuisance most of the time.:)
Someone with a bit of life experience under there belt is far more stimulating;)0 -
If someone won't go near you because you're a renter you've obviously not bought them enough drinks!!
Only joking, my girlfriend and I have nothing now and we will have even less when my house is built so we can carry on having nothing for the next 60 years!!! :money:
If I was single and a girl asked me if I own a house or if I have a car I'd really want to tip my drink over their head (wouldn't go through with it though, I'm a tight git!)0
