Must be a glutton for punishment.........
I have an a ex wife who was materialistic in that way......hence the ex bit...0 -
What about people who live in council houses?
Does anyone find them less of a catch than even renters?
Doesn't it depend where the council house is?
If the council property is in a smart part of London in a low rise block/converted house in then I'm sure the fella is not going to have any problems.
If the council house is in a high rise estate then I know women will eventually run miles. (And I do know women who have eventually run miles.)
BTW how do you all end up talking about housing with people you chat up the first time you meet them? Don't you have anything else to talk about?I'm not cynical I'm realistic

Wow, what's your BMI?
A house isn't a home without a cat.
Those are my principles. If you don't like them, I have others.
I have writer's block - I can't begin to tell you about it.
You told me again you preferred handsome men but for me you would make an exception.

it is true, but your not a homeowner if your paying a mortgage.

The deeds would be in your name. A bank will have a registered charge if there is a mortgage.
Women, on the whole, want security and stability. A man who has a mortgage is hopefully showing some sign of wanting to provide that; even if the debt isn't totally repaid for 25 years. Ultimately, I think (the proverbial) we like men with a sensible attitude to money...
and I like a man that can afford to take me to Gordon Ramsay on special occassions, because boy do I like my food (BMI 19.5 before you get any ideas!)Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

LOL, I wonder if all these mortgage payers (homeowners) would be so attractive with negative equity.0 -
What negative equity? Haven't you listened to Bruno properly - there is no such as a house price crash!
