Laughing at all the missing and found items, you didn't find my Berry Bear's passport in the black hole did you? I 'tidied' up recently and now can't find it so couldn't get his annual booster entered onto it the other week. Also looking for an Asda C&C from end of February as still not had refund for refused subbed items, so if you see that, can you let me know please ... and thank you :rotfl: :rotfl:

3Dogs, I found when my refunds were taking a particularly long time a visit to the store I picked my C&C up from to complain got the refund processed. A chat with CS in South Africa revealed that the delays are often the fault of the store because they have either not put the refund request through to be processed or they have not responded to a request from CS to approve a refund request.

i refuse to clear it up

I've been on Mse for many a year...using coupons, r&r, T points etc etc. I found the thread however because of the thread titles 11 plus or something. It caught my eye as here in NI in year 7 our kids sit a transfer test to big school called......the 11 plus (well it was called that in my day, not now).
I was always on paidtoshop and recognised a fair few names from over there so started reading....and reading....and reading again....and again and again until I finally got it. :D
Was a great substitution for the demise of Manufacturer coupons.

I have a question for the newbies if I may...how did you find the elite?
I guess everyone can answer if they so wish, but it really does interest me how we all bonded...

me I clicked on the thread at the time by mistake thinking it was something else, and ended up staying to see if I could work out what was going on....i'm still here, none the wiser as to whats going on...but glad I have made a few friends along the way!
At the time the chat was penny T items so it became a challenge to find some...

I was being nosy :D I started on the coupon thread, wandered over to grabbit and then wondered what on earth the weird title was for

    attention all dog owners

a new product here http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/Shopping/FindProducts.aspx?Query=purina%20one%20dog%20food contains the same deadly toxic chemical that is killing dogs all across America see article here http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2986195/3m-lawsuit-claims-Purina-Beneful-dog-food-contains-lethal-toxins.html the chemical propylene glycol is basically antifreeze and it causes kidney damage fits blindness and ultimately death I have witnessed a cat dying like this and those screams will haunt me till my dying day please DO NOT feed your dog this product in fact even better boycott Purina and tell them why stay safe elite xxx

This propylene glycol debate has been raging for a while now......that's the name of the chemical you refer to, it's also known as E1520. It's used in many foods, cosmetics and toiletries. You have probably worn it or eaten something with it in today! Yes it is used in anti-freeze and other such products in different concentrations.

A couple of points about this article and what it doesn't say. The USA regulations and the EU regulations on the use of it and what amounts are allowed vary greatly so it's unlikely that EU regs would allow harmful amounts to be present in anything.
This chemical isn't permitted in catfood. It's known to be harmful to them.

That article is the Daily Mail at its scaremongering best. Not saying there's nothing in it just that they've missed a lot of facts out!

Not being argumentative at all :o just giving the other side to this. People can make their own minds up as to what's safe and what's not for their pets.
