I have a question for the newbies if I may...how did you find the elite?
I guess everyone can answer if they so wish, but it really does interest me how we all bonded...

me I clicked on the thread at the time by mistake thinking it was something else, and ended up staying to see if I could work out what was going on....i'm still here, none the wiser as to whats going on...but glad I have made a few friends along the way!
At the time the chat was penny T items so it became a challenge to find some...

I found it by accident and after feeling the loss of Toscos h/beauty coupons, refund in full policy and the demise of other incentives to shop.. ..cheered me up no end to find out about apg/glitches etc. Mind you at the beginning it felt like I was learning another language, something obscure like serbo croat...but got there in the end. Have dipped in and out since

I remember finding the elite after I was on MSE comping for a couple of years. I used to hang out on that thread a lot. They're nice but I didn't get to know people as well as I (believe) I do here :)

I remember seeing a thread with a weird title when looking for coupons and thinking 'wot?'

I read for a bit but most of it sounded like a foreign language to me. I remember TM especially being friendly and welcoming :D

I have dipped in and out since the dtd days, I had been discussing it with someone at work and could see potential but they just shrugged it off, I googled it when I got home and stumbled across the forum, finding like minded people was fantastic!! My New Years resolution this year was to keep up more and it's March and I'm still here!!

So that every single post that I contribute to this thread is on topic I would just like to say I am an elite 11+ member and I hear the unjust silence of my opinions whilst I am shopping in supermarkets mainly. Just sayin.

I was researching putting together a nappy cake for a friend and stumbled upon the main forum. From there I started having a general nose around and stumbled in here. That was about 3 years ago :)

Not a noob now but I was once. I stumbled across the elite in the run up to christmas a few years ago- I posted a grabbit that I'd been to Tesco express and picked up 3 jars of mincemeat for something like 40p or 60p. Someone came over and said they could get a better deal. I was a bit narked at that because I felt like they were trying to pee on my parade- I'd found a nice easy little number and I couldn't see how this other deal was better. I followed her over here and they've not been able to get rid of me since- not from here anyway :rotfl::rotfl:

This was around the time of the 1p trays and 4p shirt/tie sets so I got here just in the nick of time :rotfl:

The 1p trays are very well used in my house :D
