If I were "sexist", do you really think I'd let my wife do the things she does?

    I found it!!!:D:rotfl:

I don't think it's a question of letting your wife behave the way she does. That's not being being emancipated that's allowing yourself to be treated badly. And her behaviour isn't feminist, it's immature and irresponsible.

I do understand your parents' concerns Alex. I think MrsK behaves really badly in so many ways and from what you've said there's worse that I'm not aware of. I think it would be fair enough for her to have a share in the home you have now as she has contributed although even then I believe your parents paid the mortgage for some while and she's certainly not been generous with her own money.

I don't think your parents are being mercenary. I think they've worked hard to make something of your family through hard work and IIRC from relatively humble beginnings and they don't want your wife to benefit by walking off with half of it but moreso perhaps forcing the sale of their home, land and business. I think if I were in their position I'd take legal advice.

Shame that the sun isn't lifting your mood. I think you'd be wise to visit your GP if necessary. You've done so brilliantly, not just with money saving but with changing your thinking and attitude I'd hate to see that black dog tripping you up.:)

If your parents are so worried about your dw having any claim on their money once they are gone, why don't they leave it all in trust for your ds?

It's a whole lot more complicated than that and not just about when they are gone / inheritance matters.

You are right about my parents, they've done very well apart from ending up with me as a son.

I've had an awful day and there's been no sun either. Not quite sure why things are so bad.

    Utterly dreading tomorrow.

I hope he has a good day, too. In fact, I really hope he enjoys school. :)

Today he decided to try the uniform on and play "school" with my wife. Strange boy. :rotfl:
