Huge congratulations Ionafan and 'This side up' vibes for your prospective GC, Mrs MP.

I've just received the final vet's bill for Mrs Dog. *wince* I don't mind admitting I've now got a touch of financial cramp and it has completely curbed my enthusiasm for taking on another one quite as quickly as I'd first envisaged.

I'm going to go back to the cupboard under the front steps and see what I can take out of there and rehome in the attic. It's still looking scruffy and disorganised and I've been pecking away at it for years. Today - it will be sorted. I might even clean it afterwards, but I don't want to get too carried away.
    Better is good enough.
  • Quick update -
    Washer on
Kitchen cupboards ransacked for more unwanted items - all now washed and in the pile! Still hanging onto 44 piece canteen of cutlery wedding present and matching fish knives/forks , fruit set, cake forks, coffee spoons and butter knives - not sure quite why though!
    CB stuff better sorted.
Just decluttering fruit and a hot drink. Having a SP day today to try and shift the biscuits and bare HCBs I had Saturday and yesterday!

Now off to do some paperwork - my favourite!

  • Afternoon all! Hope everyone had a nice weekend!

Thanks for the new thread/list Dustykitten, feeling very smug as had a day off yesterday and made major progress in what was my 'room of doom' (the office)! Lots of files that had been hanging around half empty since finishing uni, all sorted, old damaged files chucked and all ones I wanted to keep shoved in loft! :j I can't take all the credit as OH did the 'loft shoving'.
However, will make progress on second room of doom (i.e. dining room )
Monday - Rooms of Doom - Dining room!!
