Sticking with the new style lists for another week, each day will give you some basic flying, some deep cleaning choices and some decluttering choices. As ever feel free to pick and mix what needs doing for you according to your ability and time.
................................
Welcome to the weekly Flylady thread. If you need help organising your week or getting motivated when it comes to housework then come and join us.

Thank you Natty for last week's thread

Every room comes back around next week so please don’t stress about catching up

These lists are only suggestions and not a must do list; you are more than welcome to post and follow your own lists.

Also adding a declutter mission each day will help to gradually clear the clutter and make flying easier.

A few of the basics before we start the week

Hotspots are areas where if one thing gets put there, loads of other things follow!

Daily routines are anything you need to do on a daily basis like washing, swish and swipe kitchen and bathroom, ironing, making beds, vacuuming high traffic areas, making meals etc.

Night-time routines are all things which make getting ready in the morning easier, preparing clothes for the next day, making lunches, swish & swipes of the kitchen and tidying the living room before you go to bed plus personals like shower/brush teeth etc.

Fling Boogie - stick on some loud music, grab a bin bag and whiz around the house finding items that can go out with the rubbish, recycling, for charity shop, basically anything that will stop it cluttering your home.

Swish and swipe/S&S means have a quick wipe over an area such as a sink or toilet to prevent the build up of dirt. This is usually done on a daily basis

HHE/HHC/HHI Half Hour exercise/challenge/ironing ... run around for 30 minutes to the Benny Hill music frantically cleaning exercising or ironing.. other music may be used if you prefer!

I spent this afternoon with DH and we did some major decluttering of his clothes, only tackled t shirts, sports stuff and undies at the mo we already have a huge pile to go. So first task tomorrow after hairdressers will sorting that into CS or clothes bank bags, I'm going to make a start on my chest of drawers so will make my RoD our bedroom. Got loads on this week but will be in as much as I can

Thanks dusty and also natty for last week x

Happy birthday to CY and condolences to gilly x

A shall declare my room of doom the conservatory. And we made a start out there today. DS is doing his friendship badge this week and one challenge is to take a nice toy in for a less privileged child. So both kiddies chose today. We did a good bit of tidying but still over-filled and no actual cleaning done. So I'll pencil that in for after paid stuff.

Rest of house now in reasonable state. Mentioned casually to DD(4) that her bedroom was messy when they came home. I was surprised to find it tidy(ish) when we came upstairs this evening, bless her. Not sure when she came up herself but her floor was pretty clear, so I made quite a fuss of what a good girl she was, then DS went to do his too :T so I managed to vac both rooms!

I've also S&S the upstairs bathrooms, ironed and put away half the DR piles and washed up. DW was on a hot cycle earlier and I've stripped and remade my bed.

Lunch is made, bags are ready and clothes put out for morning. Just need to pop DD on the loo then I'm off to Bedfordshire!

    Night ladies x

Thank you Dusty. You have reminded me that I have been storing the Old Wives' treasure box (i.e. old meeting records etc) temporarily in the cupboard under the stairs and, now that the parish office has been redecorated, I can take it back there tomorrow evening :D

Will join in as much as I can this week. The window that most needs cleaning is the LR, inside and out :o It will be first on my list if it's not raining tomorrow.

I'm in! Thanks for the list.
I stayed in all day today and hubby did indeed take kids to soft play so I had a much needed pamper session and made some cards (throwing some stuff away).
This afternoon we watched a family film.
I pulled some CDs off the shelving unit to get rid of. (We have a monthly music subscription now and cds never get used). hubby suggested music magpie. I didn't think it would be worth the hassle but it looks really easy! Most oft the he CDs were 30p each but it all adds up! It will probably be £15-£20 by the time we have finished! And most importantly they will be off my shelves!

Anyway, waffle over. Catch up tomorrow night x

thanks Dusty that suits me fine as my RoD is still the office which is making slow progress.
Students 10-11 and 1-2 tomorrow which is irritating as I don't like a big unpaid gap between them. Still should be home to tackle a few things in office before latest assessee and her mum come round for feedback on my report at 6.
Work a little thin on the ground this week; 2 students booked for Tues and that's it so far. Must make good use of the time 'off'.
Visitors who came round this eve commented on the work we'd done in the front garden, which is pleasing and encouraging. I want to really get the veg beds under control this week if I can, and sow some seeds. Going down to stay with my mum Fri-Sun; handy that Mr N has another 2 weeks working 10-2 so I can pick him up from work which is half an hour closer to my mum (Southbourne) so maybe we can miss the worst of the traffic and he can sleep in the car.

Lounge/dining room/hall/bathroom all pretty good as recently tidied and vacuumed for visitors. Some ginger cake and macaroons left, ditto GF cheese scones so looks like my weight isn't going to tumble far this week.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.

Hugs good wishes and positve vibes to all who need/ want them
Happy holidays to those who are away or planning to go soon.
Please can I have some baby the right way up vibes, on last weeks check the midwife told DD2 the baby feels breach (after feeling in the correct 'upside down and ready to go' position in other recent examinations) DD is obviously quite worried as she has got a home birth planned. Now she's not sure what is happening and has been booked in for a scan this week to check the position. I don't know anything about breach births so all I can offer her is support and sympathy, her partner cant Get time off for the scan so She asked me to go and she's worried if it's a Csection he won't cope so she's asked if I'll go with her if he's not able. Of course I will I just want them both to be alright

    This weeks list
