OK I have finally done it, I have only about 2 H and B shops to do before I am down to only having the £1.25 quit coupons. Actually I am quite sad about it so I am hoping to check out some out of my area Tescos next week in the hunt for more H and b coupons. I've even used up all but one of my Tesco blue clothing coupons, waiting more in the post but I never got the mailing others got.

But I have got about 4 lots of healthcare £2 and two £1 combinations left. I also now have the childrens vitamin coupons and I think the two one coupons might be the most useful for coupon combining.

Please can someone advise me what to get. I know there was a little discussion a week or so ago, seem to remember basetts vitamins???

I cant believe you think thats "ordinary" ;)
Never had any SA make comment, except, "you must be the cleanest family in the area"(after i'd put my fourth transaction through)....the problem you all seem to have is that you actually feel guilty, so you look guilty....I have no guilt whatsoever.

if you don't pad out your HB with normal shopping, where do you get your normal shopping from?

Or, do you have a local Tesco that you don't abuse and do your food shopping at that one?

No, no local which i dont abuse, i abuse them all, just some more than others, OH does normal shopping combining HandB with mocs to get it cut price.

But still got freezers full of meat, cupboards full of food, and a garage full of beer, coke, champagne from RandR days....We dont buy much a week.
    Couponing....."every little hurts"

after so many set backs, no more guilt, sa walked away to enquire about store policy, i looked up and counted how many lights on ceiling, each time sa came back with something slightly different, even in the same store. so i stick to their rule in that particular occasion and expect to change the next time. it's nice to have a i-don't-bother type of happy scanner, but there r less of them these days. many of them got told off. i m more keen to try out new faces these days as old faces change attitude eventually.

Sorry if this is a silly question, I am ok with the h&b, sb and qk and use them to get my toiletries (in amongst regular shops) but how do you get all these mocs you keep mentioning? and how do you use them to get all sorts of stuff? I am trying to plan for as minimal spend at Christmas as possible to help to sort out my debts so am looking for ways to get bits and pieces cheaply....

    Disaster!!!

I have been getting very brave just lately and have been using H&Bs and QKs quite successfully. However, I've just returned from doing two H&B shops and the till didn't take even one of my vouchers!!! The young SA tried to scan every coupon but the till bleeped each time and I had certainly bought enough for the vouchers to work!

Even the MOC for the items I bought didn't work so I visited CS with those and got the money refunded - I didn't dare ask for DTD though - I was still bright red from people watching as the till bleeped away!!

Don't know whether to give up now? Might try again tomorrow with just a little shop and try returning some of the items I bought. I'll let you know tomorrow how I get on...

You may have soon, Tesco read these threads, not advisable to mention individual stores.......

1 failure , but I think it was operator error, would not accept
SB for professional haircare with John Frieda, don't think he had pressed total, therefore no coupons accepted.
Young red haired guy, I have been to him since and everything went OK

Wooohoooo I had a happy scanner today! My god, what fun - I can see why you experienced hands get a buzz out of it!

I did a big shop and handed over a huge wodge of vouchers and he scanned the lot - am very happy and so is my Mum who now has a pile of H&B.

If only I had more vouchers....WHY didn't I just stockpile the quit kits when there were masses of them? I didn't quite get the BOGOF aspect of it at the time so left them alone - now the penny's dropped, it's too late. Oh well - short but sweet and thank you all for the tips
