Hope that you are using Knowsley Park discount vouchers, kids free tickets, seem to be loads about at tourist info centres

I found a "kids go free with a paying adult" voucher which my son just manages to be eligible for so that should take the price down a bit :)

Better go and get ready now!

I also bought a little discounted (yellow sticker) fruit and veg to disguise the price slightly because I’m not yet confident enough to blatantly pass over just 8 measly pence for my shopping, lol.

Bit of a misprice? But something to look out for when getting h&b. Just 'bought' Palmolive Pure Cashmere bath creme. 200ml is £2.19 and surprisingly so is the 500ml!! Thought it might have been a potential dtd but it went through as £2.19.

yes, i always do that too, u can never have enough of food, i always buy some household items that we will normally use and stock them up. washing up liquid, detergent, fruit and vege, i would go for whatever on reduce or discount, just to pad the HB HC shop a bit. even when disaster happens and i have to refund some items, the receipt won't show as if i only went in to get HB freebies ;), it looked more like a normal household shop.

Liverbird, you wonderful gal, have a hug from me!

As per your pm, I visited a fabulous Tesco this afternoon, no stress whatsoever and it was so coupon friendly!

I picked up loads of things that aren't normally in my local Tesco and had them all scanned for a tiny amount, god bless you Liverbird, you made my day (if not week!)

p.s, Hubby doubted your directions would get us there as in his words "she is only a woman" but so glad to prove him wrong as they were spot on and I found it easily.
(the above was said tongue in cheek by hubby so no offence intended!)

Oh and the monkeys at Knowsley ripped the wipers off from the car in front!

Oh happy day! I love Tesco again. Had two successful shops today more than making up for my disaster yesterday!

One of the usual coupon happy lads was on the till and I manage to gain over £30 off two shops paying. He did say that he should only take off 10% but loves to put them all through. He stated "Tesco rip enough people off and they don't even pay double time for working a Bank Holiday!"

I think he's great! He only worls part time though - I must get his working rota from him next time I see him.

I will also remember the good advice from Vellum, THEFIZZ and mhoc about the sub total button - many thanks - glad I didn't give up!

Thats fantastic - well done!
One day, give it a go at getting your shopping for a few pence - I always do so with the H&B, and its great fun; especially comments from the person behind in the queue, or the SA - some don't bat an eyelid, some are shocked, but most are like the guy I went to yesterday : "That'll be 17p please....BARGAIN!!"
