In the last month Ive averaged 6 £shops" a night with no padding whatsoever....recently doing 0p shops 2 at a time and going back for another 2 in the same shop.

I cant see why you should think this out of the ordinary, Thursday the SA even sorted my last few coupons out(i inadvertently added 2 40p Colgate which i didn't need) so it came to 0p....and looked really pleased that he had done it, especially as i had money in my hand ready to pay him... although i knew i didn't need it.

Ive been stopped a couple of times of late, and realised i have been spotted by supervisors in the odd store as well.......as well as the one the other day, after being stopped for couponing, i was stopped at the door and accused of shoplifting...shoplifting what i said....free Quit pcks......but thats history now.

But this is more down to shopping in empty stores on a night rather than not padding my shopping out, and feel i have never drawn suspicion because of no padding.

Went back to all my stores in busy periods and had great success....although not sure if my attention span is nearing its end......or my loft is about to cave in.

I just love couponing etc, and relieving T of his beautiful goods, really do!!

    OMG you're having a giraffe ?!
I cant believe you think thats "ordinary" ;)

I have roughly £90 in moc's I need to use before the 31st of August but the cupboards are seriously overstocked, foodwise.

Can anyone suggest anything else I could buy for future use as my brain won't work this morning

I don't need washing powder/toilet rolls/washing up liquid or any more cleaning products.

Oh said we could do with another freezer for all the food I keep bringing back and the larger Extra stores do actually sell a freezer for I think £129.99. Doubt they would take £90 of moc's off it though! :rotfl:

if you don't pad out your HB with normal shopping, where do you get your normal shopping from?

Or, do you have a local Tesco that you don't abuse and do your food shopping at that one?

i had only one shop ended in 0, it was accidental not planned, thought i pushed my luck for once and see what happened, quite a shock to sa and me, sa looked doubt and turned around to show another sa the stash of coupons, rush out store asap, thought she may press the evil button and have me arrested. only small shop but quite scary, never do that again and never go back to that sa either.

nowadays, i often pad each of my HB HC shop with £10ish worth of food/car/household items, and i will do 2 at a time. since t is normally overpriced, it is not difficult, 2 packs of meat etc, already a tenner. if sa allows, will use a few more mocs to reduce that amount; if not, i m budget to pay in cash. if it goes hideously wrong and i don't have enough cash, i will pay by credit card and return some items, there will be hardly any coupon on receipt anyway. don't know, maybe i should prepare more cash?

I always have £20 cash on me as don't think it wise to use a cc and leave a papertrail when I use so many coupons.

I don't expect to spend the £20 due to my moc's and normally come home with at least £15 of it, and around 15 bags of shopping also :rotfl:

what if disaster happens and the bill comes more than £20?
  • Pls can someone clarify this H&B thingy. Have got my coupuns ready to go. With the bog off and using the £2.50 off £10. Do you have to spend £10 BEFORE bogoff or after? Thanks

I don't do shops above £30 normally and once the bogof on the toiletries have come off and the toiletry vouchers have been used, I normally have about £10 to £15 to pay, so easily covered by Moc's.

If the worst happened and they refused the majority of my toiletry vouchers (has happened in the past!) then I tell them to void them off as there is absolutely no point in paying for them with real cash when you can get them for free with the vouchers :p

best plan is to do little and often...
