did slightly more than my usual small shops with items specifically requested by OH. planned to do 2 x 10ish HB + 8ish HC and use max coupons to help out the extra items. happy scanner was scanning a few coupons, old bag came over and immediate ran away to call someone over , luckily it was a busy time and no one available, old bag instructed only up to £5 coupon can be accepted (where is that come from?:mad: ), all scanned coupons have to be voided till the last £5 :mad:. didn't argue paid up and walked straight to CS. CS refunded all HBs HCs items. not a happy bunny but disaster happened once in a while, i could feel the hesitation vibe going on longer than usual today...
did a bit of maths at home and found out sa forgot to scan an expensive item, cs forgot to take off bogof
, so ended up with free shopping and £14 in credit. :beer:what a strange day...
um.. yum yum free rum steak0 -
I had a young SA telling me yesterday that he was only permitted to take up to a third off my bill in coupons......by law! (Oh yeah!) I asked him why Tesco didnt have the same policy in all their stores, whilst we were chatting about this he put all my coupons and extra money off coupons through!
Ker ching!

Radox glitch still working this afternoon and also the Head shower gel - £1.69 but takes off £1.99. Don't know if this has been on before, looked but couldn't find it.If I had known then what I know now . . .

I really hadn't planned on buying more Radox.. honest.. but I hadn't managed to get any of the Jasmine & Fig before, so just had to get some.. and yes, the glitch worked..
Just as well really as the sa was so busy chatting to her pal behind me in the queue about her GCSE grades [F - now theres a shocker] that I have no idea what she did to my coupons, but couldn't manage to scan half of those I know should have scanned, and I think she managed to put my Internet DM coupon through as 50p somehow.. sheesh..
At least all my H&B went throughSo your answer don’t be scared of failure
For the only failure is never to try

shock horror, I have had a day off from Tesco
I got all my coupons lined up and paperclipped at 6pm and was all set to go when I realised I would much rather sit on the garden swing with the kids and enjoy the last of the days sunshine. This Tesco lark is ok and all that but it does interfere with everyday life. I have had butterflies in my stomach since teatime as I was due to go back to a rather iffy store and was kind of dreading it, after I decided not to go, the butterflies disappeared and I enjoyed the rest of the nightStopped smoking Jan 2007 after 23 years!Cigarettes NOT smoked = 240,945Smoke free days = 11 Years :TCash saved so far = £125,45,110 -
Radox glitch still working for me today. Am off on hols tomorrow and needed a quick fix.... couldn't bear the thought of the h&bs expiring without me using them all up! It was torture last time when I had some SBs left and couldn't get there on the last day!
Was a bit worried when non of my regular lads were in so I chose a young girl in a cardi (figured she could be new or from different dept) and she took all my coupons from both my shops
Still have plenty of the h/c and the £1 toiletries left but I'm sure my sister will use them up!
Hope to return from hols to a new bunch of coupons. :rolleyes:0 -
Did my first Tesco shop this evening using some H&B vouchers kindly sent by Onlyoneme. Picked a young new SA and purchased:-
2 x Carex handwash £1.38 BOGOF
2 x Palmolive cashmere shower £2.19 BOGOF
2 x Radox shower gel £1.48 BOGOF
Plus three other items totalling £4.30 because I was cacking myself and wanted my shop to look “normal” lol
= £8.85 (or £14.40 before discounts)
Used:
1 x £2.50 H&B
2 x £1.00 H&B
2 x £0.50 Danone Activia
1 x £1.00 Intuition Plus
Total to Pay: £2.35.
The SA was shocked yet really pleased for me that my bill was so cheap. It was really hard to control my grin as I walked out the shop.0 -
Hi everyone
so how often do all the different coupons come out??
Do they justcontinue through out the year or do they have a set time for each type??
Just wondering really, as the So beautiful ones ran out last week and wondering when the next lot would be out??
Also the clothing coupons that was around a few weeks ago, do they re-appear again and again at certain times??
Sorry for all the questions!!0 -
