Well done on an excellent first shop Grunhilda. :T Welcome to the wonderful world of Tesco freebie toiletries.

Thanks, I got a real buzz out of it! It was a really good feeling to get one over one of the big guns. Mr T's had plenty of my money in the past - it's time to claw some back.

Did my first Tesco shop this evening using some H&B vouchers kindly sent by Onlyoneme. Picked a young new SA and purchased:-

    2 x Carex handwash £1.38 BOGOF
    2 x Palmolive cashmere shower £2.19 BOGOF
    2 x Radox shower gel £1.48 BOGOF
Plus three other items totalling £4.30 because I was cacking myself and wanted my shop to look “normal” lol

    = £8.85 (or £14.40 before discounts)

    Used:
    1 x £2.50 H&B
    2 x £1.00 H&B
    2 x £0.50 Danone Activia
    1 x £1.00 Intuition Plus

    Total to Pay: £2.35.
The SA was shocked yet really pleased for me that my bill was so cheap. It was really hard to control my grin as I walked out the shop. :D
Well done!! here's to many more shops like this! :T

Yep, this is totally familiar each and every time I do an H&B shop. I just wish I wasn't such a scaredy (sp?) cat as, unfortunately, my average spend is £7/8 with each set of H&B although I do try to ensure it is things that we do need!

I am the same, all my Hb shops come with a few groceries as I am too wimpy to chance doing them on their own, mind you, it still costs me very little due to the judicious use of my marvellous moc's :D

God knows how Leadheads nerves have held out for this long if he does so many shops and doesn't pad any of them out, what a risk he's taking each and every time:eek:

H an B 50 points vouchers require a £2 spend? So 5000 points would be earned from £200 spent on H an B, assuming you had that many H an B vouchers in the first place? Hardly normal spending is it?

I reckon in the last month alone i have spent(in coupons) over £2000 in Tescos......thats doing on average 6 to 8 shops a day, and thats only on the basic £10HB and £8HC......but never use a Tesco Identity card. and swap all my points for other coupons.....could be more, as the recent glitches are on the £20 HB

    Hi everyone

so how often do all the different coupons come out??

Do they justcontinue through out the year or do they have a set time for each type??

Just wondering really, as the So beautiful ones ran out last week and wondering when the next lot would be out??

Also the clothing coupons that was around a few weeks ago, do they re-appear again and again at certain times??

    Sorry for all the questions!!

Unfortunately we dont know....HandB are fairly prolific, but clothing have been very scarce since te glut in Feb,March, April where you could easily get £80+ off a £60spend

In the last month Ive averaged 6 £shops" a night with no padding whatsoever....recently doing 0p shops 2 at a time and going back for another 2 in the same shop.

I cant see why you should think this out of the ordinary, Thursday the SA even sorted my last few coupons out(i inadvertently added 2 40p Colgate which i didn't need) so it came to 0p....and looked really pleased that he had done it, especially as i had money in my hand ready to pay him... although i knew i didn't need it.

Ive been stopped a couple of times of late, and realised i have been spotted by supervisors in the odd store as well.......as well as the one the other day, after being stopped for couponing, i was stopped at the door and accused of shoplifting...shoplifting what i said....free Quit pcks......but thats history now.

But this is more down to shopping in empty stores on a night rather than not padding my shopping out, and feel i have never drawn suspicion because of no padding.

Went back to all my stores in busy periods and had great success....although not sure if my attention span is nearing its end......or my loft is about to cave in.

I just love couponing etc, and relieving T of his beautiful goods, really do!!

I was wondering about your loft (as you do :rotfl: ) and thought you might need my DP to do a survey - he's a structural engineer ;)

But I think he'd say not to pile it all in one area because the load would be too great, spread it around a bit.

 at leadhead's nerve. I've been splitting what I need to buy anyway into little bits and doing it that way - although I haven't even dared to do more than one in the same shop yet!

Going to a party this afternoon....there's a big Tesco's en route - if this fourth shop has also fixed the Radox glitch everyone else is still getting, at least I'll know I'm the only H&B'er in the area!!!:D Somehow, I doubt it.;)

By the way, I have a £5 clothing coupon my Mum gave me - can that just be used on any shop or do I need to buy clothes?
