I have the crackers. Best A!di ones, out of the box but still with the sealed polywrap on the tray, so fresh as can be.
Sympathies on ATOS, KW. There is lots of good advice online if yours was a claim for ESA or PIP.

Reclaim for ESA transfer from DLA to PIP - last time around on ESA I was given 0 points - on appeal 20 :wall:, the phone call was to set up the PIP assessment - for some reason *cough incompetence cough* they phoned rather contacting my OH - I was on lifetime DLA - the Goddess only knows what will happen now

I've got a lifetime award for HRM on DLA, but I've also got substantially worse since. I haven't asked for PIP re-assessment for care (as I should have done) for obvious reasons, it will all happen soon enough. My award was in early 2010, backdated 2009, so perhaps earlier indefinite awards have gone through the system before me.

Hmm not sure I think my award was post that - they decided to hit me with both just before Christmas last year though :(

*hugs* Knitwitch. I have whisky. And also brie.
    Softstuff- Officially better than 007
  • Hugs Knitwitch, I hope you feel better now.
I seem to be permanently tired and grumpy, my L&M's shifts are all over the place which disrupts both our sleep patterns.
On the up side I getting lots of crochet done, I'm on row 10 and the 3rd colour change of the mandala waistcoat I'm making for my DD.
    Chin up, Titus out.

((hugs)) Knit Witch - virtual wine and fruit cake on the way to you. The fruit cake is actually Christmas cake - OH treated himself to an "iced fruit bar" ready for Christmas, put it in the bread bin so it was out of the way, and forgot all about it :D

Glad the waistcoat is going all right HH! DGD will be so pleased with it! My DD1 crocheted me a raccoon as an extra Christmas present, so I took it into hospital with me so I had something to cuddle :)

nursemaggie Hope the scan was ok. Will you always need them, or is it for a certain length of time and they'll eventually decide you needn't have any more??

Ivyleaf I don't know yet and I don't think they do either. The drug I had to treat my cancer is still on clinical trial. Until 2 years ago they were keeping people on it for life. I guess we will know if someone gets the cancer back we will go back on the drug. So far it is every six months the same as before. I feel well enough. Will know if it is clear which I expect it will be, a week on Tuesday.

I hope you are feeling better Knit Witch. What ever happens with a claim will happen in their time, not yours, whether you worry or not.

I don't mind going every six months for a scan, It takes no longer than my appointment. I made good time yesterday it only took me 1 1/2 hours to get there. It usually takes 2 1/2 hours or more. I only had two minutes to wait for buses and the train and no delays. It was much the same coming back.
