Yes very quiet on here. Ankle is healing well now although I'll probably wait another four weeks before running again.

I have other things to worry about now, details in my diary.

    Hello all.
Just been to Al*i for the usual culprits (bread and milk) and it's very, very busy. In fact all 6 tills were open and up to four people waiting in each queue. Haven't seen it that busy since before Christmas. Do they know something I don't know?
On the weather front it was grey but dry on the way in, but persisting it down on the way out. Best thing about going to that shop is the sight of the local firemen doing their shopping. Oooh! I do like a man in uniform and there were 4!
Well better get on, hoping to do some baking this afternoon.

    Good vibrations

I think its probably the first payday since Christmas and everyone has either gone shopping, or changed their usual supermarket to the foreign ones :D

I think you must be right Floss. I was in our Aldi on Monday morning and it was really quiet. It was a real pleasure to be shopping, and I don't say that often.

Gosh, the wind is bursting its buttons here at the moment. It is also hammering down and dark. Glad I'm tucked up in the warm, regarding a pile of ironing with a jaundiced eye. Can I leave it until tomorrow? Possibly.

Had my six monthly scan this afternoon. Went in Aldi on the way back. It was just as busy as it always is with mainly younger people buying dinner on there way home.

I bought some clothes for DS. spent just over £20 and got a hoodie, a sweatshirt and two long sleeved Tshirts. They are really good value.

Monna I leave washing until next year and then need it and don't have time. Just hang it all up no one will notice.

Can someone at the fence make me a brew - or even better a wine or three :o

Had a major panic attack after/during an AT*S phone call this morning and could do with some virtual comforting from the Fencers (oh and if any one has some virtual Fairy Cakes ..........., or cheese and crackers .............)

Knit Witch I can make you a cuppa or even offer a brandy ( for extreme times of need - medicinal you know )
I am sorry about your panic attack. I can't offer any advice but plenty virtual hugs and some pineapple upside down cake with custard.

Sorry Knit Witch the only wine we have has been in the fridge for months. I think we have a couple of craft beers and certainly no cakes but have a big hug from me. I do have a small piece of blue Stilton and an even smaller piece of white Stilton but no crackers.
